Chapter One Hundred and Twenty Two

A Few Weeks Later

At Spoby's House

"I seriously don't know how you do it, but you know that I wouldn't be able to live without your pancakes." Spencer said as she took another bite of her stack in pancakes with her fork and Toby laughed. "Well you might've mentioned that before." He said. "Well that's because it's true." She said smiling at him. "Well thank you, it's appreciated." Toby said. "You're welcome, I appreciate you more than you know, everything you've done for me, for us." Spencer said before eating another piece of pancake. "There is nothing I wouldn't do for you because I love you Spencer Morgan Cavanaugh." Toby said smiling at her and she smiled back. "I love you more Tobes." She said happily. "Not possible." Toby said. "Yes it is." Spencer said smiling at him and he smiled back at her. "So, are you excited for later?" Toby asked her and she nodded. "Yes of course, I'm happy that Donna's coming home from the hospital today, I'm guessing that Em's already texted you?" Spencer said and he nodded. "Yeah she has, I told her that we're both really happy that Donna's being released from GH today and that we would see her later at Sonny and Carly's." Toby said and Spencer nodded. "It's nice to have something to celebrate." Spencer said. "Yeah I know what you mean." Toby said before eating another piece of his pancake. "I'm really happy that Donna is going to be okay, and I know that Em has to be relieved that her new baby sister is finally coming home today." Spencer said. "Yeah she is, and I'm happy that we could help Em and Joss through all this." Toby said and Spencer nodded. "Yeah me too." She said and he smiled softly at her. "What?" She asked him. "Nothing, just admiring my beautiful wife." He said and Spencer laughed softly. "Well thank you." She said and he smiled at her. "No need to thank me, you know that." He said. "I know, but still, and you I'm really thanking you for more than just saying that I'm beautiful." Spencer said. "I do, and I still stand by my previous statement." Toby said and Spencer playfully rolled her eyes.

"So, Halloween is right around the corner, are you excited?" Toby asked and Spencer nodded. "Of course I'm excited, it's going to be our little princess's first Halloween and she's going to be even more adorable than she already is in her costume, and as an added bonus you are going to look even hotter than you already do in yours." She said smirking at him. "Well thank you, but I think that it's obvious that you and Marion are going to steal the show from me." Toby said and then Maggie barked and Spencer laughed. "Yes you too Maggs." Toby said smiling softly. "It's definitely going to be a Halloween to remember that's for sure." Spencer said smiling at Toby. "Agreed." Toby said smiling back at her and then he leaned over to kiss her and she smiled into the kiss and kissed him back, although the moment was cut short by the sound of Marion crying from upstairs and Spencer went to get up from her chair but Toby stopped her. "Stay and finish the breakfast you husband cooked for you, I'll get her." He said and Spencer smiled softly at him as she sat back down and Toby kissed her forehead before going upstairs to the nursery to check on their daughter.

At Chase's Apartment

"Do you have to go to the station today?" Ali asked Chase before taking another sip of her coffee. "As much as I'm enjoying this beautiful morning with my amazing girlfriend, yes I do have to get ready for work." Chase said. "Yeah I was afraid that you were going to say that." Ali said frowning. "I know, and wish I could spend the whole day with you because you're off from work, but on the bright side I'm going to try and make it to Sonny and Carly's later." Chase said. "Okay good." Ali said smiling softly at him. "There's that smile that I love." Chase said before kissing her forehead gently.

"Yeah well I have a pretty amazing boyfriend and as a bonus he's pretty cute so it's kind of hard not to smile at him." Ali said. "Well I'm glad that you think that, but I am the lucky one here because I have the best girlfriend." Chase said before kissing her and Ali smiled into the kiss and kissed him back passionately. "I really do love you Detective Chase." She said smiling at him. "I love you more Alison Falconeri." Chase said and she blushed. "Alright now I should probably go take a shower, you want to come with me?" Chase asked her. "I thought you'd never ask." Ali said smiling at him and then Chase picked her up bridal style making her laugh and they went into his bathroom so that they could both shower.
