A Week Later

At Jason and Sam's Penthouse

“Did you have fun today buddy?” Jason asked Danny as they walked through the door. “Yeah!” Danny said smiling. “Well that's good to hear.” Sam said smiling as she walked through the door behind them holding Emily Scout in her arms. “Thanks for taking me to see Santa, I do have a question though.” Danny said. “Yeah sure what is it buddy?” Sam asked curiously.

“How does Santa have the time to do it all? Deliver all of the toys to all of the kids in the whole world?” Danny asked curiously. “Well Danny I think that that's definitely a question for your Mom to answer because she knows a lot more about Santa than I do.” Jason said before looking at Sam who was smiling softly at him, she handed Emily Scout to him and then led Danny over to the couch and they both sat down and Danny looked at Sam waiting for her to begin speaking. “Well Danny, we've talked about before how Santa and his elves have a lot of helpers, especially around the holidays because they need help to make sure all of the good girls and boys get all of the toys.” Sam said and Danny nodded. “Yeah I guess that makes sense.” Danny said and Jason smiled at Sam and looked at him and smiled back. “So are you ready for tomorrow?” Jason asked him as he set Emily Scout down in her Pack N Play. “Yeah! I'm excited to see Spence and Toby.” Danny said smiling. “So are we buddy.” Sam said smiling. “And You know that next year your little niece will be here.” Jason said and Danny nodded. “Spence and Toby are definitely going to be the best parents, well aside from you and Mommy of course.” Danny said and Sam and Jason laughed. “Well we really appreciate that Danny thank you.” She said smiling. “And I know Spencer would love to hear you say that too.” Jason said. “I couldn't have asked for a better big sister, Spence is the best.” Danny smiled. “You are definitely right about that.” Sam said happily. “Yeah she's definitely one of a kind isn't she.” Jason said smiling. “I would say we're all very lucky.” Sam said smiling and Jason smiled back at her.

At Spoby's House

“I definitely think that this might be my favorite Christmas Eve.” Spencer said smiling at Toby.

“And why's that gorgeous?” He asked curiously. “Because this is going to be out first Christmas, just us in our house.” Spencer said smiling. “I agree with that, but I also know that next year is going to top it because we'll officially be a family of four.” Toby said smiling back at her as he placed his hand on her stomach. “Yeah you're right, I'm excited for next year too.” Spencer said happily. “And I want to thank you for helping me out with the cookies.” Spencer said and Toby nodded. “Of course babe.” He said. “Which speaking of we should probably get back to it.” Spencer said before turning back to the cookie dough in the bowl on the counter and picks up the measuring cups of chocolate chips and pours them into the dough and starts to mix it and Toby gently wrapped his arms around her and kissed her neck gently which made Spencer moan softly.

“You know that that's highly distracting right?” Spencer asked. “You want me to stop?” Toby smirked at her and she shook her head. “Of course not, continue.” She said and he smiled before nodding and then he began to gently kiss her back again and Spencer tried to keep it together while she mixed up the cookie dough, which was pretty difficult with her husband softly kissing her neck but she wasn't complaining because of course she loved it, it didn't last too much longer though because they were interrupted by the sound of the timer on the oven going off and Spencer sighed.

“That would be the gingerbread cookies.” She said and Toby nodded. “You finish getting the Chocolate Chip cookies ready to put in the oven and I'll take care of the gingerbread.” Toby said and Spencer nodded. “Okay that sounds like a plan, just don't get any ideas about east them all.” She said laughing. “Hey I would never! That was one time.” Toby said and they both laughed and then Toby gently kissed her cheek before going over to the oven to take out the gingerbread cookies and Spencer smiled to herself as she continued to mix the chocolate chip dough, she was very lucky to have To by in her life, and she knew that he felt the exact same way about her.
