Chapter One Hundred and Thirty Two

Previously on Pretty Little Port Charles…

Spencer had arrived at The Floating Rib and Ali said that it would be better if they had their conversation somewhere more private, so they went into the bathroom and after Ali double checked that they were completely alone in there, she turned her attention back to Spencer.

"Okay what's going on Ali? You don't completely seem like yourself." Spencer said with concern in her voice. "Well I kinda have a lot on my mind right now." Ali said softly, but the nervousness was evident in her voice. "You said that you needed to talk to me about something, what is it?" Spencer asked gently and Ali took a deep breath. "Ali, you know that you can tell me anything, right?" Spencer asked her and she nodded. "Yeah I do, especially this." Ali said. "Then why don't you tell me what's going on?" Spencer asked her and she nodded before taking another deep breath, she looked down at the floor for a second and then she looked back up at her and Spencer could tell that she was really nervous about whatever it was that was bothering her. "I think that I might be pregnant." Ali finally said and Spencer looked at her in surprise.

At The Floating Rib

"You think you might be pregnant?" Spencer asked Ali who nervously nodded her head. 

"Well I'm three weeks late and the math adds up." She said and Spencer grabbed her hand comfortingly. "Have you said anything to Chase?" She asked her and she shook her head. "No, no I haven't said anything." She said softly. "Why haven't you told him?" Spencer asked gently. "Because we're in a great place right now Spence, and we're always careful so I don't understand how this could've happened." Ali said before looking down at the floor. "And you haven't taken a test or anything?" Spencer asked her. "No, I wanted to talk to you first." Ali said as she looked up at her. "Well obviously I think that you need to take a pregnancy test, and I think that you need to talk to Chase and tell him what's going on, you know that he would never leave you." Spencer said. "I know that, of course I know that." Ali said. "So have the two of two discussed having kids, eventually?" Spencer asked. "Not in so many words really, no. We've just been focused on where we are right now, I mean of course I love him but we've only been together not even two full years yet." Ali said. "I get that, but you do want a family one day right?" Spencer asked and she nodded. "Of course I do, and I think that Chase would be a great father someday." Ali said smiling softly. "You really do need to talk to Chase, and most importantly, take a pregnancy test." Spencer said. "I know I know, can you please not tell anyone else about this? I mean it may not even be anything, just a false alarm." Ali said and Spencer took a deep breath. "Ali, of course I won't tell anyone else about this conversation, but asking me not to say anything to Toby is a different story." She said. "But Spence he's Chase's best friend." Ali said. "That may be true but if I tell him not to say anything to him he won't, you know that." Spencer said and Ali sighed. "Okay I understand, he's going to ask what I wanted to talk to you about and I don't want you to have to lie to him." Ali said. "Thank you Ali." Spencer said smiling softly. "Don't mention it, and thank you for the talk Spence, I really needed it, but I really should get back to the hospital now, my break is almost over." Ali said smiling softly at her. "Anytime Ali, I'm always here for you." Spencer said smiling at her before giving her a hug. "I know, and I'll always be here for you too." Ali said smiling at her as she hugged her back. "I know, I love you." Spencer said smiling. "I love you too Spence." Ali said smiling at her before giving her another hug and then she left leaving Spencer alone in the bathroom and she took a minute to process what had just happened, Ali might be pregnant.

At The PCPD

"Jason, the commissioner said that you wanted to see me." Chase said as he walked over to Jason who was sitting on the bench by the water cooler, he stood up and walked over to him. "Yeah I did, I need you to do me a favor." Jason said. "What do you need?" Chase asked. "I'm just going to come right out and say it, so a while back someone stole $15,000 out of the money to be used for the coffee shipments from the warehouse, and all of a sudden today $25,000 was taken from the warehouse." Jason said. "Why didn't you come to me before?" Chase asked. "Well I was going to but then we thought that whoever it was just decided to back off, until the $25,000 was stolen this morning." Jason said and Chase nodded. "Okay, so do you have any idea who could've taken the money?" He asked him.
