Chapter Six

The next morning

Spencer woke up and noticed she Toby's arms were still wrapped around her.

"Good morning gorgeous." Toby smiled at her then kissed her forehead. "Morning handsome." She smiled back at him.
"You okay?" He asked as she sat up but he sat up as well still keeping her close to him and he rubbed her shoulders comfortingly. "Yeah I'm okay, I'm just- I was relieved to see that you were still here." She admitted. "Spence you know I would never leave you, am I still disappointed that you lied to me? Yes but I would never leave you, you know that." Toby smiled at her and she happily hugged him. "I know you wouldn't I just- I don't know but you're here and that's what matters, can we please just forget about yesterday?" Spencer asked. Toby nodded "Absolutely." He said and she smiled. "We can just focus on us. Here. Right now." Toby said in between kissing her. "Mmmm I like that idea." She said kissing him back. "Oh really?" Toby asked smirking at her. "Mmmm hmmm." She nodded happily and smashed her lips against his once again.

A little later

Jason, Sam, Spencer, and Toby were all in the living room discussing what to do about Julian.

"Okay so I was up late last night thinking about how we could take Julian down, and I have a plan." Toby said. "Okay Toby, what is it?" Jason asked. "Okay so we need proof that he's the one who hijacked the shipment right? So I say we get him to admit it, face to face, and I want to be the one that talks to him." Toby said and Spencer immediately shook her head. "Toby no I am not letting that happen, you were the one just yesterday that told me to stay away from him and now you wanna throw yourself in the crossfire!? No that's not happening I won't lose you Toby." Spencer said desperately trying not to cry and Toby grabbed her hands comfortingly. "Hey Spence look at me, I'm doing this to protect you okay I promise you I will be okay I can handle Julian and I don't want him anywhere near you, let me do this Spence." Toby pleaded. "But Tobes-" "I'll be okay, I
promise." He caressed her cheek. "I don't like this" Spencer said. Before Toby could speak again, Jason spoke up "What's the rest of your plan Toby? He asked. "I want to meet him at the pier and I will wear a wire and get him to admit that he hijacked the shipment and I'll have his confession on tape and we can nail him." Toby said. "That's actually a really good idea." Jason said.
"You know I would do anything to protect
Spence." Toby said looking back at her.
"Tobes, don't do this." Spencer said. "Spence maybe you should let him do this, we could finally nail Julian to the wall." Sam said and Spencer looked at her. "Your mom's right Spence, and I will be there with Toby for backup, I won't let anything happen to him Spence." Jason promised and Spencer looked back at Toby. "It'll be okay I promise." Toby said and she thought about it for a minute and then slowly nodded her head. "Okay." She said. "Okay?" You'll let me do it?" Toby asked. She opened her eyes and looked at him "I'll let you do it, but I need to be there." She said. "Spence I don't want you anywhere near him that's why I'm doing this." Toby said. "Toby I wouldn't be able to live with myself if something happened to you and I wasn't there, I promise I won't get anywhere near Julian okay? I promise for real this time just let me be there with you." Spencer pleaded with him and he turned to look and Jason and Jason nodded so Toby turned back to Spencer "Okay fine you can come only because I know how stubborn you are." He smirked at her and she smiled at him. "Thank you, so when do you want to do this?" Spencer asked. "Tonight, we need to end this." Toby said and she nodded.
"Hey I'll be okay I promise." He said pulling her close and kissing the top of her head and she nodded.

At Maxie and Nathan's apartment

Hanna was sitting on the couch working on her laptop when she heard a knock at the door, so of course she got up to look through the peephole and she was very excited when she saw who was at the door so she quickly opened it.
