Chapter Twenty Eight

Okay everyone I can't believe it's already here but here is the conclusion of the 2018 Nurse's Ball! I hope you all enjoy, this one's gonna be pretty long lol.

( I decided to include all the dresses again just in case you needed a re fresher lol.)

“Okay everybody next up on the Nurse's Ball stage is someone who is very near and dear to this amazing cause and most of us know her and she is so incredible so everyone here is Robin Scorpio-Drake to say a few words.” Lucy said as Robin walked on to the stage.

“Hi everyone, it's great to be back here in Port Charles for another Nurse's Ball and as you know this is as Lucy said this cause is very near and dear to my heart because as you know I was diagnosed with HIV 20 years ago and it was a very challenging time for me but here I am 20 years later I am happy, I am healthy, and I am a wife and a mom to two incredible kids so it just goes to show you that you can overcome anything and it only makes you stronger and I hope that one day there will be a cure for HIV and Aids and that's what the Nurse's Ball is all about so please keep donating to this cause and I want to thank you all for coming out tonight and please enjoy the rest of this wonderful Nurse's Ball!” Robin said happily as everyone clapped. “Thank you Robin!” Lucy said happily and then Robin walked off the stage and back over to Patrick and he kissed her. “Okay everyone we're going to take another little break everyone. But we still have some of this Nurse's Ball left so please enjoy the rest of your night!” Lucy said before walking back off the stage and back over to Serena and then the lights came back on.

Right outside of the ballroom

“Sam we need to find a way to trap Valentin, tonight.” Jason said. “I agree with you, but how are we going to do this?” Sam asked.
“Well Valentin is right in there with everyone else so we can break into Wyndemere and get the proof that we need to bust him, what do you say?” Jason asked. “Yes of course I'm in.” Sam said smiling.
“We need to let our daughter in on our plan.” Sam said and Jason nodded. “Okay, text her and gave her come out here.” Jason said and Sam nodded and pulled out her phone and a few minutes later Spencer and Toby walked out of the ballroom and they went over to them. “Hey what's up?” Spencer asked. “Your Dad and I have a plan, to bust Valentin once and for all, tonight.” Sam said. “Okay I'm in, what's the plan?” Spencer asked smirking. “We need you and Toby to cover for us and distract Valentin so we can break into Wyndemere and get the proof we need.” Jason said and Spencer looked at Toby and he nodded and Spencer looked back at Jason and Sam. “Yeah of course we'll help.” She said and they smiled.
“Thanks Spence.” Jason said. “Yeah of course I'm happy to help finally get Valentin Cassadine out of our lives.” Spencer said smirking. “One condition though Spence, you let me handle him okay I don't want him anywhere near you okay I need you safe Spence.” Toby said wrapping his arms around her. “Toby-” “No Spence Toby's right I don't want you near him either, we know what he's capable of.” Jason said. “I can't let him hurt you again okay I won't baby let me handle him.” Toby said and Spencer looked up at him and nodded and then stroked his cheek. “Okay, I will leave it you, I promise, just promise me that you'll be careful.” Spencer said and Toby nodded. “I promise I'll be careful.” He said before kissing her.” Toby said. “Okay so I think you two should probably get back in there.” Jason said and they nodded. “Yeah, you two be careful alright?” Toby asked. “Of course, you just take care of our daughter okay?” Jason said and Toby nodded. “Of course. I will always protect her.” He said and then they walked back into the ballroom.
“Okay, you ready to do this?” Jason asked Sam and she nodded. “Let's do this.” And then he kissed her and then wrapped his arms around her and let her out of the Metro Court and outside and they made their way to the Pier to wait for the launch to get to Wyndemere.

Back inside the Ballroom

“Give it up for Emma and Kiki everybody!” Lucy said as everyone cheered. (I was going to write their performance but for the life of me I couldn't think of a good song for them to do so oh well lol.) “Okay now we're going to take another little break but don't you worry the night isn't over yet.” Luc said before walking off the stage and the lights came back on.  “Okay I guess I should get talking with you know who over with.” Toby said before standing up and so did Spencer. “Just be careful alright, we know what he's capable of Tobes.” She said with concern in her voice. “Spence I'll be fine this is a public event I don't think he'll try anything.” Toby said. “Just please be careful okay?” She asked again and he nodded. “I promise.” He said before kissing her and then he walked away and Spencer watched him go, she was worried about him though and she needed a distraction so she walked over to Serena to chat with her for a few minutes.
