Toby was laying in bed watching Spencer who was sleeping curled up next to him with her head on his shoulder and he smiled to himself before looking down at Marion who was still sleeping soundly on his chest, it was almost 8:00 AM and he had been awake for a while now and as he laid there watching his two favorite girls sleep he was thinking about how lucky he is to have this family, and there's nothing he wouldn't do to protect them.
A few minutes later, Spencer finally started to wake up and she smiled up at him. "Hey you, good morning." Toby said smiling back at her before kissing her forehead. "Hey, good morning handsome." Spencer said as she stroked his cheek with her thumb. "I can tell that you slept very well." He said smiling at her. "Were you watching me sleep again?" She asked him. "I think you already know the answer to that." He said. "You're lucky that I find it cute and not creepy." She said smiling at him. "Because I make you feel safe." Toby said and Spencer nodded. "Of course you do, is Marion still sleeping?" She asked and Toby nodded before gesturing to their daughter who was still curled up on his chest sleeping. "You know she's the only one that I don't mind sharing your chest as a pillow." Spencer said smiling at him and he smiled back at her. "Merry Christmas Spence." Toby said before kissing her lips softly and Spencer smiled into the kiss and kissed him back. "Merry Christmas Tobes." She said happily. "This is definitely even better than last year, like I said it would be, and waking up like this is more than I ever could've asked for." Toby said smiling at her. "Yeah it is pretty great isn't it." Spencer said. "Yeah it is." Toby said smiling softly at her and then Marion started to wake up. "Well good morning princess." Toby said smiling at her and she smiled back at her and Spencer smiled at them.
"So, you wanna go downstairs and get some breakfast?" Toby asked looking back over at her and she shook her head. "No not yet, I think we should lay here and enjoy this moment a little bit longer." She said and he nodded in agreement. "Yeah you're right, we can stay here a little bit longer." He said smiling softly at her before kissing her forehead and she smiled back at him and Marion babbled happily and they both smiled at their baby girl, they were pretty lucky.
