Chapter Sixty One

The Next Morning

At Jason and Sam's Penthouse

When Sam woke up the first thing she noticed was that she was no longer wrapped in the safety of her husband's strong arms, where was Jason? And why didn't she feel him untangle himself from her because usually she wakes up Immediately. She quickly sat up and looked around the room for Jason but he was nowhere to be found. Just as she was about to call out for him she smelled something, pancakes. She smiled to herself before getting out of bed and going downstairs and once she got there she looked around the room and saw Jason over at the table putting a stack of pancakes on a tray. “Hey you, what's all this?” Sam said making Jason look up at her.

“Well I was trying to surprise you by bringing breakfast upstairs but I see you woke up sooner than I thought you would.” Jason said giving her a small smile. “Well yeah that's because I realized that my husband husband was no longer in our bed with me.” Sam said.

“Yeah sorry about that I thought I'd be back before you even woke up.” Jason said.

“Why didn't I even feel you get out of bed?” Sam asked with confusion in her voice. “Well you were pretty tired from last night so honestly I'm not surprised.” Jason said smirking at her.

“Well yeah that's a fair point.” Sam said smirking back. “Okay why don't you go back upstairs and I'll bring this up to you and we can still eat in bed like I planned it?” Jason said and Sam nodded. “That sounds perfect, okay I'll go back upstairs.” She said and Jason smiled before walking over to her and gently wrapping his arms around her waist. “I love you Sam Morgan.” He said smiling at her. “Well that's good because I love you too Jason Morgan.” Sam said before kissing her husband passionately and Jason kissed her back.  “Okay okay, go back upstairs before this turns into a repeat of last night.” Jason said and Sam laughed. “Okay okay I'm going!” She said before laughing again and then going back upstairs and Jason smiled to himself before finishing up down there and then he headed back upstairs to their bedroom with breakfast.

“You know you really didn't need to do all this Jason.” Sam said before taking another bite of her pancake. “I know I didn't have to, but I wanted to.” Jason said smiling at her and she smiled back at him. “Well they're delicious, thank you.” Sam said but Jason shook his head. “Come on Sam you know that you never have to thank me for anything, I'm just simply showing my wife how much I love and appreciate her.” Jason said. “Oh I know I don't have to thank you, but I want to.” Sam said smirking at him and he smirked back at her. “Point taken, so what do you want to do today?” Jason asked. “Well I was thinking that maybe after we go and pick up the kids from your Mom's that maybe we could just come back here and have some family time, watch a movie or something.” Sam said before taking another break of pancake. “Yeah I think that's a great idea.” Jason said smiling at his wife. “You don't have to meet with Sonny today?”
Sam asked curiously and Jason shook his head. “No not today, today is about you and me and spending some quality time together and then with our kids later.” He has and Sam smiled. “I love you so much Jason.” She said happily. “I love you so much more Sam.” Jason said before leaning over to passionately kiss his wife and she immediately kissed him back.

At Spoby's House

Toby was lying in bed watching his beautiful wife who was sleeping peacefully on his chest and one of his arms was wrapped around her protectively, while his other hand rested on her small baby bump.  

A few minutes later Spencer started to stir a little bit before slowly opening her eyes and then she looked up at Toby and smiled at him. “Good morning gorgeous.” Toby said smiling back at her. “Good morning handsome.” Spencer said as she stroked his cheek gently. “How's my girl?” Toby asked her. “Doing pretty good right now.” Spencer said smiling. “Good.” Toby said smiling at her before kissing her forehead gently. “What do you want to do today?” Toby asked curiously. “I would like to just have a nice cozy day at home with my husband.” Spencer said happily and Toby smiled.
“I think we can do that.” He said before kissing her forehead again. “Well good because I just want you all to myself right now.” Spencer said laughing. “Well there's nothing wrong with that, after everything that's happened these past several weeks we deserve this alone time.” Toby said and Spencer nodded. “I couldn't have said it better myself.” She said smiling at him.
“So do you want me to go downstairs and make us some breakfast?” Toby asked but Spencer shook her head. “No not yet, you know I'm not ready to let you out of my sight for any longer than I have to.” Spencer said and Toby nodded before kissing her forehead. “It's alright, I'm not going anywhere.” He said and she nodded.
“I know, and I promise you that I'm not going to let you get hurt again because of me.” Spencer said and Toby shook his head. “Hey don't do that, don't blame yourself for what happened. I'm fine baby.” He said.
“But it is though! I mean all the stuff we've been through, all the stuff that's happened is because of who I am, who my Father is.” Spencer said before looking down and Toby sighed before gently taking her face in his hands and making her look at him. “Spence listen to me, we've been over this, I knew exactly what the risks were when we got together and I told you that I didn't care about the risks I cared about protecting you, and you finally let me in and it was literally one of the happiest moments of my life, besides you saying yes when I proposed, our wedding, and finding out you were pregnant.” Toby said and Spencer gave him a small smile. “The point I'm trying to make here is that we are a package deal Spencer, no matter what and nothing or nobody's going to change that.” Toby said smiling at her and she smiled back at him. “You're right, and no matter what happens we always manage to save each other and come out on the other side.” Spencer said and Toby nodded. “Exactly, because we're a package deal.” He said. “Two pieces of the same puzzle.” Spencer smiled at him.
“That's absolutely right, and I promise you I will always protect you and our baby, no matter what happens.” Toby said and Spencer nodded.  “We know. But just promise me that you will be safe.” Spencer said and Toby kissed her forehead. “Always, nothing could ever take me away from you or our baby Spence you know that.” Toby said and Spencer smiled at him. “I do, and I love you so much.” She said and he smiled at her. “I love you too baby girl, more than you could ever possibly realize.” Toby said before kissing his wife passionately and of course Spencer Immediately kisses him back.
