Jay's POV: Once my brother left the room, I sighed as I turned to look at Hank. "Sorry for that. He's really stressed out. He doesn't want to see me break down nor does he want to be the one to give me any bad news." Hank nodded and sighed. "I get it. You are probably worried sick right now." I turned around to face him and nodded. "Hank, I am not just worried. I am freaking out. I have questions going through my mind. Is Erin okay? Is the baby okay? Did she miscarry?" I took a breath before continuing.

"I also have questions like. What if the baby isn't okay? What does this mean for my marriage? What does this mean for our relationship? Will you hold it against me?" Hank sighed and shook his head. "Jay, you did exactly what you were supposed to do. You got her food, you were getting changed. Jay, relax...take a breath and keep emotions out of it." I didn't like to hear that. "Hank! My wife and unborn daughter are currently in the hospital during COVID. Need I remind you that my wife's mother already died of this!"

Hank just looked at me and shut up. "Sorry, please don't fire me." Hank nodded. "Jay, I'm here as family right now. I am not your boss, I am Erin's dad." I sighed and nodded. "We haven't even been married 2 months and now, this could happen to us. I love Erin with all my heart and want to say that nothing will break us apart. However, what if this breaks Erin? I mean, she's already lost her mom and Nadia in Chicago. What happens if we loose this baby? Does this lead her to leaving again without telling me? I'm her husband and I'd leave too of course."

Hank nodded and agreed. "You are going to be fine Jay. You both are. And the baby is not going anywhere, it's safe. I've been through this before. Remember, Olive fell while she was pregnant with Daniel and he's fine." I nodded and agreed with him before sighing. "Hank, can you promise me to not push us to get back to work too soon after this? I am freaked out and am probably going to be very scared to leave her side for a bit." Hank nodded and smiled. "Take all the time you need. Maybe we can just get you to analyze stuff or do desk work."

I smiled and agreed when I heard my brother walk back into the room. He smiled at me and nodded. "She's awake and asking for you Jay." I nodded and smiled as I got up. Grabbing my jacket from the chair, I looked at Voight and smiled. "You can come stand by the door but you don't come in okay? I am going to be close to her." Hank nodded and agreed. "I'll give you a bit of time. Let your brother know when you're ready to see me okay?"

I nodded and smiled as I walked out of the lounge towards Erin's room so that I could go see her. Once I walked up to the door, I looked at her and saw her eyes were closed.  She was currently hooked up to an IV and was getting nutrients. I smiled at her while walking over to her before grabbing her hand and rubbing it. "Hey Erin, how you feeling?" Erin opened her eyes and reached out for me. "I don't want to talk. I feel exhausted and like I just want to go to bed."

I nodded and agreed before moving to sit in her bed with her. Wrapping my arm around her, I sighed as I moved to kiss her forehead softly before whispering to her. "Then that's exactly what we'll do the minute we get home." Erin nodded and agreed as she rolled over a bit and slipped her legs in between mine. I then moved the little blanket on top of us before putting my hand on her baby bump as we held each other close. "Hank is pretty worried about you. He's here."

Erin then looked up at me and nodded. "You call him?" I nodded. "He wants to see you. Think you'd be okay with that? He is just going to pop in and then he has to leave. We aren't supposed to have visitors but...they made an exception for me because of the fact that Voight is more than your boss." Erin smiled when I said that before going to kiss me softly. "Can you go get him for me?" I nodded and was about to get up when I heard Hank.

"I can't come into the room kiddo. I have been given orders to stay at the door and stay apart." Rolling over to look at him, I moved my arm around Erin's back as we sat in bed together. That's when I felt her cuddle up to me. Wrapping my arm around her, I moved my hand to her stomach before kissing her forehead softly. "It's okay Hank. Probably the best in the era of COVID. Sorry if we interrupted an important case for this. I feel stupid, I know I should've ate more."

Hank shook his head. "Erin, you're pregnant...and COVID changes your perception of what time it is during the day. Heck, sometimes I wake up at 5 and think it's 8 even though it's still dark out. Erin, you guys are going to take more time off and just relax okay? I promise you guys that you are out for at least 2 weeks." Erin smiled and nodded when he said that. "Thanks Hank." I smiled and nodded before kissing Erin's head. "Yeah, thanks." Hank then left us to relax.

"This will be nice. 2 weeks paid leave where we can just lay down in bed for a while." Erin nodded and smiled as she moved to lay her head down on my shoulder. "Sorry for worrying you today." I sighed. "Erin, you have nothing to apologize for. You didn't feel good and passed out. All that matters is that both of you are okay and that now, you can rest. In fact, let's just sit here and relax okay? Just like we are going to do for the next 2 weeks." Erin nodded and smiled as we held each other close in bed.
