Antonio's POV: After hanging up with Jay, I went to close my laptop and rubbed my eyes a bit as I sat in my office. I had worked a bit too long and just hoped that everything was still in order. That's when I heard Sylvie at the door. "You finally taking a break?" I looked up at her and nodded. "My eyes are hurting and Jay is on so, he's going to take over where I left off. However, I need to rest." Sylvie nodded and agreed. "C'mon, let's go lay down in bed." I agreed and got up before going to grab her hand to follow her to bed.

I then decided to wrap my arm around her back when we were at the stairs because I knew that recently, she's been struggling to get up the stairs. "You on break from work?" Sylvie nodded and smiled when we walked upstairs. We then went directly into our bedroom. I needed to relax and this was the perfect way to do it. "By the way, I am glad you are okay with Eva watching Matteo on New Year's Eve." Sylvie nodded and smiled. "She's not the only one. I am going to watch him too. I need practice with kids after all."

I sighed and went to get on the bed before wrapping my arm around her. "Sylvie, you're a paramedic. You deal with kids all the time. You are going to be a great mother." Sylvie agreed and then moved to grab my hand, intertwining our fingers. "However, something that I am still struggling with is what to pick as my wedding dress. Would help to know if we are doing it before or after the babies are born." I thought about it and sighed. "I would love to do it before the babies are born but...it's not safe. I would want my sister there."

Sylvie understood. "Then it's settled, we will do it when they are 6 months old." I stared at her. "6 months?" Sylvie nodded. "When we get married, a honeymoon should be guaranteed after. And I want to go to Puerto Rico where my husband and kids have family. The twins are going to be half-Puerto Rican and it's pretty much all beaches." I smiled when she said that and nodded. "You do realize that I am from Mexico...not Puerto Rico?" Sylvie nodded. "I don't want to have to worry about getting passports until they are older."

I nodded and understood. "You also want to see what Gabby did while we was down there don't you?" Sylvie bit her lip and nodded. "Is that wrong?" I shook my head and smiled at her. "No, because what she did was amazing. She helped set up a new hospital, changed the ambulance system and helped train many more doctors. I don't think she would ever say this but...I am sure that she's actually quite sad that she had to come back to give birth but, it was worth it in the long run considering she's back with Matt."

Sylvie then sighed and looked at me. "Uhm, I've been meaning to ask you something actually. You know about me and Matt, how we thought there was something there. Was it weird to hear that or are you mad about it? I mean, he's your brother-in-law...well, at the time ex-brother-in-law." I looked at her and then leaned down to kiss her softly. "You guys needed people to help get over your broken hearts. I am just glad it was somebody that I trust completely."

Sylvie smiled and nodded. "I could tell he never stopped loving Gabby though. I was really shocked that he didn't go with her." I nodded and agreed before sighing. "Think we can not talk about that? I still resent him for that. I agreed that he should've gone." Sylvie nodded and sighed when she laid her head down on my chest. She then smelled me and just sat up. She then looked at me and was not happy. "Go shower, you reek!" I chuckled and nodded.

"Surprised you are just saying something now." Sylvie sighed. "Just go do it or you aren't getting lucky on New Year's Eve. And no, I am not talking about sex...I am talking about pleasure that is easy for me to give." I then sighed and looked at her. "About that, I was thinking of talking to Gabby and ask her if she wanted me to help at Molly's. She's working that night and they are probably going to need staff to send orders out. It's a great night to make money."

Sylvie smiled and nodded. "Is Diego working that night?" I nodded. "If we can be there to help, it can help them get more money. I feel bad that they don't have people working there when they are on shift. And of course, that's on one of the most profitable nights of the year." Sylvie nodded and smiled. "Listen, how about I call Gabby to talk to her about it? I might help too." I looked at Sylvie confused. "How exactly?" Sylvie then grinned. "I will take the orders."

I nodded and agreed, loving the idea. "Then, me and Diego can make the orders and go deliver them or get them ready for pickup." Sylvie smiled and nodded. "Wait, I just realized something...aren't we watching Matteo that night?" I then shook my head. "No, Eva is. And shit, I just remembered. I am on shift that night anyways. I have to work with patrol to enforce the stay at home order. That means you are alone here." Sylvie sighed and nodded. "Maybe I can go hang out at the firehouse? They normally do a New Year's Eve party."

I thought about it and nodded. "Let me think about it. Sylvie, I don't want you catching this." I nodded and understood. "Listen, go take your shower and we will talk about it after." I agreed and smiled at her. "I won't be long. But, how about you go make us some supper or something? You need to eat anyways." Sylvie nodded and agreed. "I will be back. Come join me downstairs when you are done." I nodded and agreed, walking away to take a shower.

Meanwhile, Sylvie got up off the bed and headed back downstairs to start some supper.
