Meanwhile, at the Hermann House
Hermann's POV:
After hanging up with Matt, I saw Cindy make her way into the kitchen to talk to me as I made some lunch. "So, that was Matt." I nodded and smiled at her. "What he want?" Cindy sighed when I asked. "He was calling on behalf of Will and Natalie Halstead. Apparently, they have nobody to watch their son on New Year's Eve and they are both working. Now, before you say anything...his brother is working too." I nodded and smiled at her. "So, what do they need?" Cindy looked at me.

"They need someone to watch their son. They are working in the ER that night. All of the doctors are. And her mom is sick. So, she is in a bind. Would it be wrong if I wanted to offer my services? I mean sure, it is going to be hard with already 5 kids here but..." I then looked at her. "You are only going to have 4 of our kids here hun. Lee Henry is taking the car and working New  Year's Eve. We have a chef going in to do deliveries all night." Cindy nodded and remembered that. "I forgot. Wait, don't I have to work that night too?"

I then looked at her and sighed. "Shit, you do. We need someone who is a part-owner of the bar to be there." Cindy then nodded before thinking about how bad she feels. "Maybe I can get Chloe to be there instead of me." I shook my head. "She can't, she's pregnant with triplets." Cindy nodded and sighed. "And I thought raising kids was stressful. Now, I feel like I am going to be letting down your friend and their friend."

I then looked at her and then went to hug her. "Then, it's decided. You are not watching him. Cindy, if you are this stressed out just considering it...then you shouldn't watch him. Call them and tell them that they need to find another person to watch him." Cindy nodded and agreed. "Can you make me one of my drinks that I like from the bar? I need something to drink after this." We both laughed when she said that. "Of course. One vodka shot coming ring up."

I then walked away to get the vodka to make Cindy a shot while she went to call Natalie.

Cindy's POV: As I went to call the Halsteads, I really hoped that they wouldn't be mad. I waited for her to pick up and was ready to let her down. That's when I heard her voice. "Hello?" I then went to speak to her. "Hi, is this Natalie Halstead?" Natalie then responded. "Yes, who's calling?" I sighed. "This is Gabby's friend Cindy Hermann." Natalie then understood. "Oh, Cindy. Let me guess, you are calling about me asking...."

I sighed. "Natalie, I am sorry. I am going to be busy that night. I am working at Molly's to help co-ordinate deliveries. The bar is going to be swamped. I need to be there to do the alcohol since our son isn't 21 yet." Natalie then understood. "It's fine Cindy. This was a long shot. I am going to take the night off then. Either that or I have to ask if I can bring him to the hospital but that won't work." I sighed and then thought about Antonio and Sylvie.

"You know, Sylvie is going to be home pretty much all night due to her pregnancy. I don't know what Antonio's kids are doing but....she might be free." I then saw Christopher look at me. "Seriously?" I nodded and glared at him. "I want my drink!" He nodded and went to do as he was told. Natalie then spoke to me. "I will talk to Antonio. Thanks for the suggestion." I agreed and then went to hang up before walking back over to the kitchen to get my drink.
