Balance In All [boku no hero academia]

[CH. 9]: Battle Training Pt. 3

{INDOOR ANTI-PERSONNEL BATTLE TRAINING}

"Watch closely and try to learn something, everyone!" All Might spoke as the remaining students arrived in the Basement Monitor Room.

Midoriya... young Izuku! You're just another student here. No favoritism for you when it comes to grading!! All Might thought as he whipped up a paper clipped to a clipboard on one hand and a pen on the other.

"Infiltration: Success!" Uraraka silently screams as she and Izuku entered the building through the nearest window.

Izuku warns as he stuck himself to the walls cautiously, "There are lots of blind corners, so watch out...", to which Uraraka nods.

He then starts recalling what he wrote on his notes, 'Scope out the whole place in tight spaces and indoors in general.', and so he did.

After a few moments of silence, Bakugo came leaping in front of them from the corner, which made Izuku flinch out of surprise.

Bakugo charged directly at Izuku with his explosion quirk with his right arm, the green-haired boy leaped to the side, bringing Uraraka to the floor with him, almost unharmed.

"He grazed me...! Uraraka, are you alright?" He looked at his partner, who was still trying to recover from the surprise attack of the Villain Team. "Yeah, thanks!" she responds as she tries to get back up slowly from shock.

On the other hand, the students in the monitoring room gave out their commentaries. "That's so unmanly of you, Bakugo! Sneak attacks?!" screamed red-haired Kirishima, who has a quirk Hardening.

All Might added his own, "Yet they are a valid strategy! This is a practical experience!"

Ashido, the pink-skinned girl with a quirk Acid spoke with delight, "That Midoriya sure can dodge!"

Back at the training grounds, the fight between the two boys continued. "I'll mess you up, just enough not to be disqualified!" Bakugo went on the offensive as he attacks Izuku one more time using the same right arm.

This time, Izuku was able to catch his drift. He held the explosive boy's right arm. It surprised Bakugo to how he was able to read his moves, in disbelief he was not able to counter-attack. This sent him to the floor as he was flipped to the side by him.

Back at the fifth floor, Iida and [y/n] heard the rumbles underneath. To [y/n]'s suspicion, "I was right. He never listens and does things his way, huh?", she spoke.

"Iida-san, is it alright if I catch up to Bakugo? I don't want to make things worse as it is." She turns to him, looking determined.

"[y/n], you'd rather not. I believe Izuku will just tell you to stay away." He responded while being on guard with the make-believe weapon.

"But, Iida... we could get disqualified because of him!" She tries to reason out.

"I understand your concern, [y/n]. But why now? You told me to think and act like a villain just a while ago... why the sudden change of heart?"

?!

He's right...

In this test, I'm a villain...

So I should not be worried about him...!

For now... hold on until the end, Izu!

"You're right. I guess I got carried away for a moment, I apologize." She hangs her head low in embarrassment.
