"I AM SO SORRY FOR THE TROUBLE!" Izuku screamed while he bowed in the classroom as almost everyone arrived early in the morning. Almost everyone else cheered him up with a light-hearted chuckle. There was the usual friendly atmosphere in the room, accompanied by the subtle cold wind as the cold season leaves its early memory.
"Deku-kun," Uraraka chirped as she smiled at him, "Good job serving your time!"
Izuku was finally free from the class suspension. Much to their relief of hearing Bakugo and Izuku bickering while they clean the dormitory every now and then, Todoroki occasionally steps in to calm things down, while [y/n], on the other hand, accidentally makes things worse.
Her presence, even with Todoroki, can't even calm the two childhood friends, as they don't like backing down in front of her for some reason. [y/n] doesn't know the reason, either. None of them do.
Todoroki thinks this is how childhood friends treat each other normally, sadly. Bakugo refuses to admit his mistakes, while Izuku still accepts that's how Kacchan is and compliments how strong his will is to never give up and strive to win... because they're fated, childhood friends! Touché.
Jiro joins in, but with a sigh, as she slouched a bit beside Uraraka with a worried expression on her face, she knew how wrong Uraraka used the term as she called out in disbelief, "Serving time, really?"
She then faced Izuku with one of her eyebrows raised as she wonders how Izuku looked like he drank coffee that morning even when the school doesn't provide them that drink anyway, "And why so worked up?"
Izuku straightens his back as he faced his familiar friend at the back, "IIDA!! I'M SORRY!! I REALLY DISAPPOINTED YOU!!"
At this point, Izuku doesn't feel embarrassed nor humiliated in the slightest with how he's been shouting apologies ever since he showed up in class early. He just felt eager, to say the least. Missing three days' worth of class is no joke, especially to Izuku.
Iida displayed a similar expression to Jiro's, but he's more unsure of what to say since Izuku has long been forgiven by him and everyone, knowing he is not one to do wrong... or maybe because no one could imagine him doing something that could disappoint them, "Uhm... that's already enough that you've reflected... but what's wrong now?"
"I-izu..." [y/n] stuttered as she stayed sitting on her seat, looking at her brother, "What's wrong with you...? Did something happen that made you so fumed?"
She remembers he was in this state ever since she saw him eating breakfast at the dining table before heading to class. It was like he ate more sugar than all the shortcakes she ate this morning. Not that she hates it, though. She finds it endearing as she missed seeing this side of his.
He answered, exaggeratedly, "I'VE GOTTA MAKE UP FOR THESE THREE DAYS OF LOST TIME!"
One could see the fumes of smoke leaving his nostrils. He's like a steamed engine train if one is imaginative enough to think about it. He's been pumping his fists like those things on the wheels on the train (that the author is too lazy to look up the right word to use).
"Oh yeah...!" She blinked with a smile as she realized, "We got suspended, right?"
"Why do you sound so happy when you said that...?" Izuku's voice died down.
[y/n] thinks all the sugar rush must have left his body.
"I admire your passion, dude!" Kirishima gleefully cheered on with a hearty response.
"There's nothing passionate about being suspended..." [y/n] sighed with a yawn, as she leaned forward with her elbows touching her desk as her palms held her head up, "Oh yeah, Bakugo's not yet here. He's missing all the fun."
