"Now it's your turn."
[Izuku's POV]
To the casual listener, that brief message...
... seemed like a warning directed at other criminals still out there...
... telling them the Symbol of Peace hadn't been broken...
... but for me...
... it meant the exact opposite.
'I have done all I can.'
[End of Izuku's POV]
As Izuku broke down to a sob as he heard those words, it caught Bakugo's attention as he observed him. Meanwhile [y/n] side eyed her brother as she clenched her fist to her chest, only for her to look away while patting Izuku's back for comfort. She then noticed how the ash blond haired boy has not taken his eyes off of Izuku as she thought to herself, he knows, too.

[The next day, police station]
"Hey, Bakugo." [y/n] spoke as they arrived by the door at the interrogation room as they sat by the door, "You're awfully quiet... you would usually be grumbling at a time like this."
Bakugo looked away with a sigh, "How are you now?"
[y/n] paused, "You're asking me... how I am...?"
She looked at him as she raised her eyebrow, "You don't usually ask those types of questions to me, either. You're weird today."
The red-eyed boy leaned on his chair as he crossed his arms while not looking at her, "So you're not gonna answer me? Fine, suit yourself."
The green-haired girl shook her head, "It's not like that... I just want to know why..."
She continued with another sigh as she looked at the ceiling and leaned on her chair as well, "Are you asking me because you were curious..."
She then looked at him with a serious face, "... or was it because you care?"
Bakugo clicked his tongue as he stood up, "Both."
She watched his back as he continued his reply with his hands both in his pockets, "Is it wrong for me to ask you that... after all that you've been through?"
He then walked towards the empty hallway as he spoke, "Don't follow me. Bathroom break."
[y/n] sweatdropped as she retreated to her seat and slouched. She muttered to herself as she covers her mouth with her cold hands while they slowly make their way to her entire face, "This sucks."
Bakugo's answer was enough for her to silently sob on her seat. She knew he was too smart to figure things out on his own.
'After all that I've been through'?
What does he know about me...?
Nothing.
Yet... he answered like he has known me all his life.
Trying to collect herself, she wiped her tears with her arm sleeve and did a few breathing exercises to calm herself down.
All of a sudden, she couldn't help but think about Izuku, her brother. If her brother knew all along, why didn't he tell her? Was it to protect [y/n] since it's a sibling thing? Does he not trust her? She starts to doubt the amount of trust she gave to her brother. It's not like she expects something in return from him. Rather, she felt like her trust wasn't reciprocated.
Well, she never mentioned the cruel part of her training in the letters they used to send each other. It was because she doesn't want him to worry over her. She thinks she'd be a burden if she told him everything. Was this how Izuku felt when he found out the truth, too? Maybe.
