[CH. 72]: Ultimate Moves Pt. 3

[y/n] slouched as she rubbed her back with her palm, "Ugh... no wonder only a few people use guns these days..." 

She wasn't able to hear what Ectoplasm said to her as her ears started ringing annoyingly as she tapped her ears simultaneously with her fingers. "Why... can't I hear anything...?" 

She then looked at Ectoplasm and spoke, "Sensei, I think I'm going deaf."

To her, it seemed like Ectoplasm shook his head and kept opening and closing his mouth as if he was adjusting his jaw. Fortunately, [y/n] wasn't being an airhead this time for she followed him as her hearing slowly went back.

Meanwhile, after the sound of the gunshot, it startled almost everyone as Aizawa reacted as he looked around, "Hmm... did anyone use a gun in the gym? That's new..."

Kirishima exclaimed, "What was that?!" 

He then turned to the ash blond-haired boy beside his pillar, "Bakugo, did you do that with your explosions? So cool!" 

Bakugo yelled at him, "Are you stupid? The sound didn't even come from me but on the opposite side... so how the hell did you think it was me?!" 

Kirishima tilts his head, "Wait, it wasn't you? You have one of the loudest quirks in class, though. Hmmm..." 

He then spotted [y/n], "Oh, she fell down! Sensei's really strong...!" 

Bakugo yells at him once more, "You idiot! Isn't it obvious that it was her who made the sound?!"

Ectoplasm then spoke as he patted [y/n]'s shoulder, "See? You're getting better." 

He continued as he crossed his arms, "For this matter, why don't you try adding a recoil-reducing equipment and earplugs to your costume for now until you get used to its effects?" 

[y/n] shook her head, "Thanks for the suggestion sensei, but I would like to get used to it without equipment." And besides, I went through three different costume changes and it's exhausting to even think about it!

Her teacher answered, "Just like Bakugo? Hmm... smart students sure are something else. But are you really sure?" Bakugo also experiences that recoil effects on his body especially when he uses his grenade-looking gauntlets... but it seems like he has gotten used to it, too.

[y/n] hummed as she saw a huge crack on the wall that resembled a crater right where she fired a bullet from her quirk, Did... did I do that...?! "Sensei, on second thought... I think I need those two after all." 

She then paused as she exclaimed, "Wait, sensei! Isn't this new move too dangerous? I might accidentally kill people in the process..." 

Ectoplasm responded, "Hmm... that's a setback that I was about to tell you... for now, you can practice on controlling its firepower to lessen the damage."

Ectoplasm furrowed his eyebrows as he noticed, "[y/n], I didn't know you had two different eye colors until now." 

[y/n] blinked in confusion, "What? But sensei, my eyes are always dark green." 

"Then why is your right eye color black? Could it be because of the move?" 

[y/n] jolted in surprise, "Eh?! But isn't that too much for a single move, sensei?" 

Ectoplasm deadpans, Oh please... even your quirk has so many moves... you're literally like a mini All for One! "I can't be the judge of that. Besides, you can request the studio now for the additional equipment if you want to."

With a smile, she bowed, "I'll be back, then!" 

[y/n] jumped from her pillar as she conjured her protective barrier, placing it horizontally as it slowly formed a pathway downwards instead of using her wings. Ectoplasm exclaimed as he expected her to use Flight, "You didn't tell me you could do that, [y/n]!"
