Balance In All [boku no hero academia]

[CH. 17]: USJ Pt. 4

[y/n] looks up with panic written on her face and saw All Might without his signature smile, "He's here." 

Yet she can't afford to bring herself to smile, either. She was scared for the pro hero, but not at the pro hero. She was scared for the fact that the villains had the guts to show their faces claiming they can kill All Might says a lot about how much planning and careful thinking has been done behind the curtains, and all she can do as an audience was to watch as the scene plays in front of her, unable to climb up the stage and claim a role.

All Might leaped from the entrance down to the central plaza as he swiftly defeats other villains standing by in a split second. He then approached Aizawa's body, with a sullen look on his face, " I'm sorry, Aizawa."

He turns his heels to face the Nomu.

In an instant, he grabs Aizawa, [y/n], Izuku, Asui, and Mineta out of the villains' range of attack while accidentally removing the hand that covers Shigaraki's face in the process, "Everyone. Get to the entrance. Take Aizawa, he's unconscious, so hurry!!"

"Father..." Shigaraki shakily spoke as he grabbed the hand to put it back on his face. "... I'm so sorry...!"

He continues as the hand is finally back to where it was, "You're fast... too fast to keep up with, but not as fast as expected... could it really be true..."

"...that you're getting weaker?"

Izuku spoke up behind the pro hero's back, " All Might!! That Brain Villain!"

"One for- I mean my attack wasn't strong enough to break my own arm but..." he continues.

"... he didn't even flinch! Up against that, you-"

All Might interrupts him, "Izuku, kid..."

"... fear not!" while smiling and doing a peace sign.

[y/n], who is still having withdrawals, saw All Might with the pose, she thought, His resilience is amazing, I guess that's how he got the highest approval ratings by the public.

All Might then dashes forward with a defensive stance, "Carolina...", approaching the two villains.

Shigaraki then calls out to the creature, "Nomu."

As expected, the Nomu was in front of All Might, ready to take on the attack from him, "...Smash!!" All Might screams.

"Seriously?!" All Might quivers. "No effect at all?!"

Shigaraki then explains to him that if he wants to damage the creature, he has to rip them apart piece by piece.

That got All Might into thinking, "Thanks for the info. I appreciate it! No sweat!!" He then grabs the Nomu from behind, flipping him into a backward slam.

As Izuku, [y/n], Asui, and Mineta walked back to the entrance while carrying their injured teacher, they looked back at All Might in awe and worry.

Izuku, with worry and panic dreading across his face, [y/n] seemed to have noticed his reactions after Asui said as they looked at All Might, "Guess we were worried for nothing..."

[y/n] then pats her brother's shoulder, "Izuku." 

Surprised at how she called him by his first full name, he flinched, "Y-yes?!"

"I can tell you're worried, and you know something I don't." With a serious look on her face, she turns her head to face All Might. "I can also tell you want to help him, am I right?"

He was unable to respond, then he hangs his head down with a whispering tone, "...I do."
