"How lovely for you to actually come back, Midoriya [y/n]," The man in the monitor spoke up in a filtered voice as the rest of the villains went silent. "Too bad. Though you and your brother always come in a package... like two peas in a pod. It's about time one of you has to get out of the shell, and sprout."
Bakugo groaned beside [y/n] as he faced her with furrowed eyebrows with his eyes screaming with confusion, "Oi, what are these bastards talking about...! Shouldn't be Deku here as well if this is the case?!"
As if there was a lump in her throat, she replied in a fragile series of hisses instead of sentences, slowly raising her head with her body tied up inside a casket as she glared at Shigaraki who sat across her from a small distance with the glowing monitor behind him. Shigaraki spoke up, "Those eyes... are just like Atsushi's... the apple does not fall far from the tree, after all."
A condescending growl was heard from the green haired girl, "Shut up! Don't you dare say his name! And you! The man on the f*ucking monitor! How much do you know?! Leave my brother out of this!!"
She then proceeded to struggle with the tight casket enclosing her body except her head, "I don't care if I have the same eyes as that freaking brute... I am nothing like hi-!!"
Shigaraki stood up from his seat as he took a few steps forward, "It's... pretty amazing how we were able to capture the gem beneath the sinking treasure... with Bakugo's explosive personality... I bet we would all get along."
Dabi spoke with a straight face as he crossed his arms and sighed, "I can't believe you have the guts to make a pun about his quirk in a time like this."
Bakugo grinned at the impotence of the situation, "Get along my ass, I'll never join your league of bastards!!"
"What do you know about father?!" [y/n] shouted as she tried to get out with limited movements. She then paused as she thought, what's with all the figurative language he's using to describe me...? The apple does not fall far from the tree... the gem beneath the sinking treasure... is he saying... that I-
Her thoughts were interrupted as Toga spoke up, cupping her cheeks while Shigaraki went back to his chair and sat down, "Hey, hey... you don't have to overthink it right now, right, [y/n]-chan? Even a kid can understand what Tomura was saying...!"
Shigaraki spoke up as he leaned on the countertop, "Your father and I... we just happened to know each other... we are not friends... nor enemies."
He continued as he faced her with his cheek resting on his palm on the table, "I was honestly disappointed that you didn't take your father's hero name as an inspiration to yours... and chose Monoko instead."
[y/n]'s eyes widened as she stuttered a response, "H-how did you know... his hero name?! He swore he never told it to anyone except to me when he retired!!"
Shigaraki responded, "I have my ways."
He continues as he stood by the monitor, "I guess nobody ever told you why your father can't come back here to Japan, huh? Seems like everybody... even your brother... thinks you're not ready for the truth yet." [Refer to Chapter 0: Origins Pt. 1, 5th to the last paragraph for context.]
[y/n] was rendered speechless, even Izuku knows?! My brother... how did he... how?! Impossible! But why... why didn't he tell me?! I'm his sister and he's my brother, right?! Why doesn't he trust me?! Why... didn't he tell me...? I trusted him... so why can't he...?
As she was about to yell and lash out, Bakugo did it on her behalf as he faced her, "Oi, [y/n]. Don't forget to breathe and calm down, for fu*ck's sake!"
