[Nine-year-old [y/n], in Atsushi's private land property]
"No... more... please..."[y/n] huffs as she fell to her knees as she tried to catch her breath, feeling like the entire surrounding was spinning around her.
"I haven't seen you use your dark side. Stop using the light side," Her father, Atsushi, scolds her as he gripped her arm tightly that she winced in pain, "If you're not going to make use of what you have, the world will know how useless and how ungrateful you are to your gifts."
"But father... it hurts...!" She tries to escape from her father's harsh grip as she begged to be let go.
"No." Her father spoke again. "Not until I see you use both of the sides, start from the beginning!" He then tosses her to the front, not caring how she landed on the hard concrete as they trained under the heat of the scorching sun.
"But father... I'm literally bleedi-" Before she could finish her sentence, her father slapped her face. The impact made her fall to the ground once more.
She grits her teeth in pain and in annoyance. "Why won't you listen to me?!" He shouts as she cries while holding her face as bruises start to resurface from it.
Her father then slapped her and gripped her by both of her shoulders tightly as he hoists her up and spoke with fury, "You useless piece of a failure! You don't know how much bullsh*it I have to deal with just raising an unavoidable burden like you!!"
She widens her eyes as more tears fell down from her cheek, "F-father... I-"
Her father then tossed her once more to the ground, but with brute force that his dark side started to seep out of his body, "Stop making excuses! One more word from your mouth and I'll make sure that will be the very last thing you could say."
[y/n] laid motionless on the ground, not caring if the scolding hot ground felt like it was giving her second-degree burns on her skin. She was beyond exhausted. She hates it. She wants it to end so badly.
Her eyes flickered as she thought,
End... I want this to end... I can't do it anymore... What if... maybe father was right about me being so useless...? I don't know anymore... I know nothing... I don't know who I am... I don't know what I am here for... I know nothing...
Once more, her father gripped her arm as he forced her to stand up on her grazed feet and legs. "We are not yet finished," He then pushes her to another obstacle barefooted, "Now, walk over until you reach the end." He motioned her to walk over a thousand spikes and then told her to kneel on mongo seeds at the end of it.
At the brink of her collapse, her father retorted, "You're just as useless as your brother and mother, no wonder they're starting to rub on you."
He then straightens her back and told her, "Don't stop when you're tired. Stop when you're done."

"Why does he hate me, Meido-san?" She sniffs as she sat down while Meido, her nanny, patches up her wounds.
With a soothing voice, she cooed, "I don't think it is for me to answer, [y/n]-sama."
"But... Meido-san... I never heard him apologize to me... or even try to help me... everything hurts," She cried once again as she closed her eyes and clenched her fists while hanging her head down.
