Over on the streets of Inkopolis, Goggles and Gloves can be seen skateboarding as they were being chased by 5 Inklings on mopeds who want to flex their muscles on the champion.
Goggles/Gloves: Whooo!
Goggles skated up to Gloves as they were riding on their boards.
Goggles: Aw yeah!
Gloves: Woo, hoo hoo! *He makes the shaka sign*
They pushed themselves forward as they were gaining more speed to outrun the Inklings chasing them.
Gloves: Now this is so cool, dude!
Goggles: This is so much fun!
The Inkling behind them pulled out their shooter and they were firing at Goggles and Gloves, with the two using their agility and speed to avoid the shots as they made a right turn on the road.
They came across a concrete roadblock, and they performed the Ollie to jump over it. One of the Inklings crashed into it and fell over.
The ringleader of this gang following them groaned in frustration, then pulled out his Tenta Missiles to fire at them.
As the missiles found their way over to Gloves, he jumped up and did a little spin, avoiding the missiles from below him in slow motion, before returning to normal speed and landing on the ground.
Gloves: THAT WAS SO COOL!
The missiles ended up hitting a squid bumper, reflecting towards one of the Inklings and causing to fall face-first onto the asphalt.
Goggles and Gloves made it to two ride rails and got on them, throwing two Burst Bombs at the two Inklings, making them fall over as the ringleader was still chasing them.
Ringleader: Take this, basic!
He pulled out an Ultra Stamp to try and smash them. But due to the size of the weapon and the weight, it caused him to lose his balance and he fell over.
When Goggles and Gloves made it over to the Square, they made it over to Grizzco Industries as the music died down.
Mr. Grizz: So you've come.
Goggles: Huh?
They looked over to see that wooden bear that is Mr. Grizz talking.
Mr. Grizz: I've been waiting.
Gloves: Eh?
Goggles: The wood-carved bear's talking!
Mr. Grizz: Now, do your best.
Goggles: Interesting!
Gloves: Eh? At what?
They were now in their Grizzco uniforms, with Goggles keeping his Pilot Goggles and Gloves keeping his Squidfin Hook Cans. It should also be noted that Gloves' ink color is the same as Goggles for they are on a team.
Gloves: Eh?
Goggles: Yeah!
They soon found themselves on a boat, heading to...somewhere.
