He is often seen wearing black dress shoes, black gloves, and striking red pants, but his most iconic piece is his red tuxedo that costs $3,000. This distinctive outfit consists of a white dress shirt, a $9,000 red silk tie, and a custom-tailored Louie Crabbemarché jacket worth $10,000. The jacket's fabric is crafted from silk produced by silkworms raised in a suit microfarm in Southern Europa, following a secret pattern passed down by monk tailors since the 7th century ME.

Spy is an enigmatic individual who prefers to strike his enemies through cunningness and surprise attacks. He is stern, cold-hearted and calculating, but is also really cunning. That being said, he does make snide remarks to both his enemies and his teammates, being condescending where he feels he is above everyone else. Despite his cold personality, he is compassionate towards his team and Miss Pauling. He does his best to cover it up.
Spy is shown to have a romantic relationship with Scout's mother, which left Scout with nightmares that Spy is his father. Spy is also a smoker, always having a cigarette in his mouth.

Spy boasts light armor just like Scout, Engineer, and Sniper, but ties in as the second fastest mercenary along with Medic at 13.6 miles per hour (21.8 kilometers per hour).
