In the last chapter of Into the Light...
Ellis: Check out all them x's, man.
The attacks from the Darklings has been escalating in size and intensity.
Marie: As you all know, we completed our mission by eliminating the Darkling base in Inkadia.
Callie: I found a report about ships vanishing from the Sea of Inkadia. A news chopper claimed they were dragged under by giant tentacles.
But Dark Squid made the biggest escalation by awakening the Kraken and sending it to attack our home at Squidbeak Tower.
Azazel: It's here.
If that wasn't bad enough, Dark Squid along with her elite soldiers, the Angels of the Thundering Spear, arrived to capture us.
Dark Squid: Feed them to my pet.
But as you know, we fought hard to drive them out of our home.
Azazel: Should've guessed Corvina would send you here.
Zebulon: Indeed, Young Lion.
Until Dark Squid arrived to settle things personally.
Dark Squid: The lives of the Angels of the Thundering Spear are meaningless to me.
Zebulon: You betrayed us.
Dark Squid had sentenced me to die by being devoured by the Kraken. And I was ready to go out in glory.
Azazel: Hello, beastie.
But the crazy stress from the war had activated Alice's dormant Summoners gene, allowing her to summon Titan onto the scene.
Alice: Leave me alone! I HATE YOUUUUUUU!!!!!
Dark Squid: I never thought that Titan would be summoned here, of all places.
And for the first time in two thousand years, Dark Squid felt fear as the war had turned against her.
Titan: You will keep your hands off Alice, devil.
