Azazel's POV
November 9th, 2022 ME
It had been several blissful days since Bordeaux had reunited with her parents, a moment that filled the air with joy and nostalgia. The happiness radiating from her was palpable, and it got me thinking deeply about my own family. It struck me like a wake-up call: five long years had passed since I had seen my loved ones. With that thought lingering in my mind, I decided to pay them a visit.
As I sifted through my modest collection of clothes for a trip to Off the Hook, I carefully selected my attire. Today, I donned my well-worn motorcycle helmet, sturdy boots, a sleek leather jacket that hugged my frame, and a pair of snug gloves. My hearts raced with excitement at the thought of riding my recently acquired motorcycle, a dream I had finally turned into reality thanks to my hard-earned savings--especially after I had gotten my motorcycle license.
Azazel:(thinking) This is going to be so cool!
Once I was fully geared up, I navigated my way downstairs and settled at the bar section of the kitchen, seeking a moment of nourishment before my journey. I savored a buttery croissant as Marina, who was sitting nearby, looked up with curiosity dancing in her eyes.
Marina: Are you going out somewhere? *She asked in a curious yet inquisitive tone*
Azazel: Yeah, I'm heading out to Little Highlyon to pay a little visit to my sister. *I said with a smile on my face*
Pearl: Hold up. You're visiting your sister? *Pearl said as she got on my lap and sat down*
Azazel: Um, yeah. Is that a problem, Pearl?
Pearl: Ohno, just asking.
Juvia walked right into the kitchen and having overheard what we were saying, she looked at me before speaking up.
Juvia: Oh, while you're in Little Highlyon, can you pick me up some stingray liver and onions?
At the mere mention of stingray liver, I felt a shiver run down my non-existent spine. It was one of those ingredients used in traditional Highling cuisine that people either love or hat, and unfortunately, I fell into the latter category. The thought of such a dish was enough to turn my stomach.
Azazel: Yeah, I'll get you your...stingray liver and onions. (thinking) Oh God, why does she want the worst Highling dish?
Marina handed me a cup of coffee, offering a much-needed boost for what lay ahead. After downing a steaming cup, I stepped outside to behold my pride and joy--the Hardy-Daytona.
