What he lacks in compassion for the sick, respect for dignity, and any sort of verifiable formal training in medicine, Medic more than makes up for with a bottomless supply of giant needles and a trembling enthusiasm for plunging them into exposed flesh. Raised in Kalinsberg, Krieg, during an era when the Hippocratic oath had been downgraded to an optional Hippocratic suggestion, Medic considers healing a generally unintended side effect of satisfying his own morbid curiosity.
=APPEARANCE=
Medic is easily identifiable by his white lab coat adorned with the class emblem on both shoulders, a backpack connected to his Medi Gun, a dress shirt with a turn-down collar and a red tie, red rubber gloves, a belt with a pouch on the back and left side containing medical instruments, black boots, a swipe hairstyle, and glasses.
=PERSONALITY & TRAITS=
Medic is a maniacal scientist, much like the other mercenaries, and enjoys violence to an extreme. Despite this, Medic is supportive and responsible to his own team, especially Heavy, taking the role of the only mercenary dedicated to medical expertise among them. Medic is a scientific genius who invented the Medi Gun and even assisted the Engineer in his experiments.
Medic embodies the classic mad Kriegian scientist trope but takes it to the extreme. His unethical actions, including abducting a man's muscle-bones and losing his medical license, showcase his extreme behavior.
One of Medic's more sinister aspects is that he sold his own soul to Lucifer. And to outsmart the Demon King, Medic has surgically grafted the souls of his fellow mercenaries onto his own, and so Lucifer is not the majority shareholder.
On a lighter note, Medic has a soft spot for his doves, particularly his cherished companion, Archimedes.
