Sevren:

***After they exited the Relictombs***

Once me and Seris had exited the Relictombs, we made our way back to the Denoir's estate. Once there I made sure Seris was okay and that she wasn't still injured from her heel breaking.

"Seris, are you sure that you're alright?" I asked, grabbing a first aid kit that I kept in my lab incase of emergencies.

"Yes Sevren for the last time I'm fine. It's just a sprained ankle," Seris said, but I could still see her fidgeting with her ankle, everytime it moved she would flinch in pain.

"Yeah, alright I'll believe you when you're not flinching when you try to move your ankle," I said, walking over to Seris, bending down and examining her ankle. I poked it with my index finger, which caused her to pull it back in pain.

"See? Your ankle isn't fine, it's most likely broken," I said, grabbing her ankle, and started to wrap it up in medical tape. The medical tape I was using wasn't the type you can just go and buy from a store. No, I developed this type of tape, it has a healing property, it allows things that could take months to heal in hours.

"Alright, if you don't take the medical tape off, it shouldn't take more then three four hours for you to be healed," I said, getting up, and walking over to put back my personal first aid kit.

"Now, I got a question for you. Why did you think it was a smart idea to go into the RELICTOMBS in heels?" I asked, causing Seris to shy away from my gaze.

"I don't find combat shoes comfortable," Seris mumbled under her breath, I could see a faint red tinge appear on her pearly white skin.

"Ya know, you could just come to me to make you comfortable combat shoes," I chuckled, getting up from the ground and walking over to my work bench.

"You know how to make shoes?" Seris asked, looking at me shocked.

"Yes oh great Scythe, I can do things other than build artifacts," I chuckled, seeing her face brighten up again.

"Anyways, Seris can I have the parts we found?" I asked, pulling out the artifact from one of the secret compartments inside my room.

"Sure," Seris said, trying to get off the bench, but she put pressure on her broken ankle, causing her to fall to the ground. I rushed over to her and made sure she was alright.

"I'm sorry, forgot about the broken ankle," I said sheepishly, helping Seris up, and bring her back over to the bench. "Here, take this if you're going to try and walk around," I said, walking over to the wall and grabbing crutches for Seris.

"Thank you," She mumbled, avoiding my gaze again.

"No problem. Oh, and can I get those parts?" I asked, Seris giving me her dimension ring. "Thank you," I said, walking over to my work bench.

I started to put the new parts into the artifact. Each piece sliding in right into spot, absolutely no problems at all. After putting in the last parts, the runes running across it started to light up, giving off a light purple color.

"It's done," I said, looking at the artifact in awe, as it lit up the entire room around us.

"Seris, we should go to where Caera disappeared, we should be able to figure out where she went," I said, getting ready to go, but before I could go a cough stopped me.

"I'm not sure if you noticed this, but I am a Scythe, how do you think that'll look on me if I am walking around in crutches? That'll make all Scythes look bad," Seris said, causing me to stop dead in my tracks and think about what she said.
