An hour later Charley knocks on Melody's door. "Little one, time to get up, everything is ready." Half asleep she opens the door to a happy, smiling man. "Get a move on Cameron is not the most patient man."

When they enter Cameron's room there is a small table with a beautiful gold goblet and a silver knife sitting on it. Kody takes her by the hand. "Come stand over here."

"This is what is going to happen." Cameron faces her. "You will repeat an oath to me and my pack. Then I will pledge to you. Following that I will slice my hand, pass the knife to you and you will slice your hand. The two of us will drop the blood into the goblet as we hold our hands together. Then my dear girl you will be a pack member."

Cameron says Melody part of the pledge, she repeats after him. "I Melody Rene Timmons, pledge my loyalty to the Silver Lake Pack. I will protect its members and Alpha Cameron Hinze."

"My turn. I, Alpha Cameron Hinze, take Melody Rene Timmons as a member of the Silver Lake Pack." He slices his hand then she slices hers. When their hands touch their blood enters the goblet, a strange feeling comes over Melody. Cameron lets go of her hand. "The bond is connected."

"Congratulations, Little one."

"Charley, I can hear you in my head."

Kody does the same thing. "Welcome to our pack."

"Thank you, Kody." Melody's face is bright and full of hope. 'Harmony, I have a pack, and they want me for me.'

"We have been traveling all day and haven't eaten I am starving. Let's go eat." Cameron says as he wipes off his hand.

Charley yells out, "Italian."

Both Cameron and Kody say, "You will never change."

"Why should I. I know what I like, and I enjoy it."

They found a fancy Italian restaurant a few blocks away. The place was fancier then the last Italian place, but the food wasn't any better, just more expensive. "Cameron, Melody has an idea. I think you are going to like it. Tell them what you told me Little one."

"I thought if I became a doctor, I could use my healing abilities. If I am careful no one would know I was using them. I have straight A's and I've taken three courses of werewolf anatomy. I have always wanted to help people ever since I was little."

You can see Cameron thinking; he is making a humming sound. "Kody, can you look up her records without her old pack knowing about it and get her enrolled in school?"

"That shouldn't be a problem. I'll fake a college looking at her for a scholarship."

"Make sure the college is on the west coast. The further away from our pack the better."

"It will be done as soon as we get back."

"I got a scholarship to the werewolf anatomy academy. If that helps."

"That is wonderful, but it isn't safe for you to go there, it is too close to their pack."

"Alpha Cameron is right. We have our own werewolf anatomy school near our pack. It actually belongs to our pack and our neighboring pack." Kody tells her. "Our pack has some pull, we can get you in there when you're ready."

"That's fine I don't care where I go to school as long as I can go."

"Kody, try to postdate the paperwork for Friday before she left. It will keep them off her trail. School is on winter break. You have to be back in the next three weeks to keep caught up. I believe it would be best if you came back with us. You can settle in and start on time."
