Melody has been at the Silver Lake Pack for three weeks and it feels like she has lived there her whole life. There is a knock on the door. "I got it, Charley, it is most likely Bethanie she is coming over for a piano lesson."

When she opens the door Bethanie is standing there out of breath. "Hey, Mel. I am sorry I got held up talking to Jose. You know how he is when he starts talking."

"It's okay, come up stairs to the music room and we can see how you did practicing the last song I gave you."

"The pack is not happy with me. I was told if I played the piano in the pack house again, they would break my fingers." Melody chucked watching Bethanie open and close her hands.

"You're not that bad." Melody reaches the landing of the stairs and feels dizzy. She is lightheaded and off balance. "Bethanie, I don't feel right." Then it all goes black, and she lands on the floor.

Bethanie screams, making Charley run to see what was wrong. The sight of his Little one laying on the floor passed out has him panicked. "What happened?"

"She said she didn't feel right, then feel on the floor."

"We have to get her to the hospital." He cradles her into his arms and takes off to the hospital.

Bethanie is right behind him, mind linking the doctor and the Alpha. By the time they reach the hospital the doctor is waiting for them. "What happened to her?"

Charley lays her on the stretcher. "She said she didn't feel right and passed out."

"Wait here, we will check her out and tell you what is going on."

As the doctor goes into the emergency room Alpha Cameron and Jose walk in. "What did the doctor say?"

"They just took her back and said they will let us know." Bethanie tells Jose who doesn't know what is going on.

The four of them are sitting waiting for some answers. Charley jumps out of his seat. "This is taking too long. I can't take all this waiting." He starts pacing the room.

"Charley, it hasn't been that long it just feels that way." Cameron stands up and walks with him.

The doctor finally comes to the waiting room. "Charley, Alpha, Melody is up and would like to talk to the both of you."

"Is she going to be alright?"

"She should be just fine, don't worry. Go talk to her she needs to talk to you both in private."

Charley hugs her, "You scared the shit out of me." Both of the men stand by her bed. Waiting to hear what she had to say.

Melody sat there twisting her fingers, a nervous habit she has. "Melody, you don't have to worry I am here for you so is Cameron."

"Do you remember what my mate wanted me for before he rejected me?"

Charley gave a slight nod. "He wanted you to be his mistress so he could breed you to have pups."

"Before he rejected me we mated." The tears are running down her face. "He got what he wanted. I am pregnant with his pup."

"I am going to kill that son of a bitch." Charley stamps across the room.

"Please don't hate me." Melody can see how mad Charley is. She is afraid he is mad at her and wants to leave her.

"Charley, stop, you are not helping Melody." Cameron took Melody's hand, "We just have to figure things out. No one is going to abandon you." Alpha Cameron runs his hand through his hair and sighs. "Charley, are you better now?"
