"How would you gentle man like to take over the kids for a while. I want to show Amanda my music room and maybe play a song or two?"

Amanda jumps up. "I have to go to the car to get my violin Kody, can the boys stay with you?"

"They are outside playing, I will go outside with them."

"The boys will love that." She gives him a peck on the cheek and runs out.

"Kody, I like your mate she is sweet."

"I think so to, Luna. I better go check on the boys, you two have fun."

When Kody gets up Anthony does too. "I will take the twins outside to play, they love the yard."

"This music room is beautiful do you play all these instruments?"

"I do. My favorites are the piano and the violin. They seem to let me express my feelings better than the rest."

"Do you want to play a song together? I can only play the violin."

"I can play the piano or the violin along with you. Which one would you like?"

"Play whatever you like. I have heard you play at the concert. It isn't the same when you are the one listening to the song, I mean I have to listen for my cue to play and keep my own music organized. So, whatever you play would be perfect."

"How about I play one then you play one. If you are good with it we could play one together. I have wanted to try something for a while now, the only problem is I haven't had someone to do it with."

"I am game to try something new. You start." Melody starts to play the piano, the music impresses Amanda. "I can see why they love your music it has so much passion. You put all your emotions into it."

"Your turn to play." Amanda closes her eyes as she places the violin under her chin, as the bow slides across the string a heartfelt melody comes out, one that could touch your soul. "That was unbelievable, the music talks to you."

"Thank you, it is nice to hear that from someone as good as you."

"What are you talking about, Amanda. You have so much heart and soul in your music, it is beautiful. What I would like is you to play one song no matter what I do don't stop playing. This is your sheet music."

"I know this music, it is complicated, but I will give it a try."

After Amanda plays two cords Melody stops her. "Hold on, I forgot to tell you, when I play my violin, it is not going to be the same sheet music so don't let it confuse you. I want to blend the two songs." Amanda lifts her violin again.

When they finished Amanda was amazed how well the music blended together. "I would never have thought about blending music like that, the sound is so intricate yet light. It draws you in."

"I wish you could stay here for a week or two, we could practice this and play it for Stephan and see what he thinks."

"I have off for the next two weeks because of a concert in California. If Kody is alright with it, I might be able to stay and we could spend some time on this piece."

"I have a better idea, why don't you come with us to the concert. We are taking a small army with us, I can't see why three more would be a problem."

"I like that. Let me talk to Kody and see if he wants to put up with us?"

Melody sets her violin down. "We better go up and save our mates. They can only handle so much pup time."

As soon as Amanda came outback, she slid her arm around Kody and leaned into him. "Kody, Melody asked me to spend the week here and we could practice together. She even told me I could catch a ride to the concert with her. What do you think?"
