Chapter 102

Everyone was happy until a mind link interrupted Anthony's fun. "Alpha, we have an Alpha Kevin at the gate wishing to speak to you and the Luna."

"We will be down in ten minutes."

"I'll inform him, Alpha Anthony."

"Melody, I need you to join me at the gate. Alpha Kevin wants to talk to us."

"What could he want now?"

"Your guess is as good as mine." Melody and Anthony are standing at the gate, not wanting him to come in. "Alpha Kevin, what brings you here?"

"I want to talk to you about your son, Wyatt, my grandson."

"Come to my office." Once there Anthony gestures for him to sit.

"Alpha Anthony and Luna Melody." He sounds very formal. "I've come here on a mission of good will and hopefully a peaceful future. We all know that Wyatt belongs to Drew by blood."

Anthony growls at that statement and Melody puts her hand on his shoulder to calm him. "Hear him out before you kill him."

"I've not come here to anger you. I've come here for my pack. There are no heirs and never will be with Drew in hiding. Even if he came back, he could not be an Alpha. I would like you to allow Wyatt to be the Alpha of Skyline Pack. If you could bring him to just visit, along with you and the rest of your family, for just a couple of weeks twice a year."

"Your pack needs an alpha, and you want my son. My son not Drew's but mine."

Alpha Kevin doesn't pay attention to the attitude in Anthony's voice. He turns his attention to Melody. "It would be nice if the pack could get to know him. Then allow him to take Alpha classes at sixteen or seventeen, which he would do for you anyway. Then when he finished the classes at twenty, he could step up as their Alpha. You would be better parents than I was. I blame myself for Drew. He was all I had, so I babied him. I did not raise him to be an Alpha, I raised him to be a spoiled brat."

"What about Hailey? She is your granddaughter too. Would you leave her out of all this pack meeting and being part of your pack?"

"My pack only needs an alpha. They do not need a female alpha. When Wyatt mates, he would bring a Luna to the pack."

Melody begins to growl low in her throat. "Who do you think you are? You were right saying Drew was the way he was because of you. You don't have compassion or love in you. You care so much about your pack that you don't care about the ones that are supposed to mean the most to you, your family."

"That's not true, I thought you would not want to give both of them up."

"I would not be giving either of them up. If they choose to help you, I would still be part of their life and their mother." Anthony holds Melody who is shaking in anger.

Anthony took over dealing with Kevin. "When he is older, I will tell him about you. We will not come to visit you at any time. Not until he is old enough to make the decision himself. Now get the hell off our pack lands and don't you ever come back. If he decides to be your alpha or that he wants to meet you, we will contact you. We will not contact you before they decide."

"That isn't fair to my pack. It is bad enough that for the next ten years we have to live under your guidelines, and be monitored by the council. Now you're refusing us to have an alpha. They need an alpha."

"You're not too old have another son." Anthony spits out his words barely able to control his temper.

The next day Anthony was sitting at the breakfast table with Melody. "You know Kody and Amanda are talking about a marking ceremony. We talked about joining them, what do you think about us having a marking ceremony."

"I know we've already marked each other, but a marking ceremony is special. We get to show the pack our unity and commitment to each other. So yes, I would love to mark you in front of everyone, Anthony."

"Let's go tell the family."

"Wait Papa Charley wants a marking ceremony too. Can we do a triple ceremony?"

"Papa Charley is right you never do just one do you."

"Anthony, seriously I don't want any more pups, we have a house full."

"I know you're right, until one of us gets fixed I will wear a raincoat. I think we have a perfect family. Now let's tell the others our plans."

That night the group got together and three weeks later three very happy couples got marked in front of the pack. "I never thought my mother and I would be getting marked together. This has been so wonderful sharing our day together." Amanda was beaming with joy.

"I agree it isn't something I expected either, but I am so glad I got to share my day with you."

Charley wrapped his arms around Evangeline. "You got marked the same day as your daughter and I got marked the same day as my daughter."

"Yep, this is one for the record books."

"Welcome to the family, Evangeline. It is nice to have you join our happy group. Most of all, I love how happy you make Papa Charley."

"I think it is mutual, he makes me just as happy, Melody. It is nice to be part of this special group of friends."

"It is time for our honeymoon, Luna. I am taking you cross country to visit some of the states you missed with Uncle Charley."

"Get it right son in law slash nephew. We are going cross country."

"I think this is going to be a long two weeks." Melody winked at Evangeline.

'Harmony, this has been such a special day. Our little circle has grown and makes my world complete.'

'Life couldn't get any better than the life we have here at the Silver Lake Pack.'

'I couldn't say it any better. This is our life, our dream come true.'
