Chapter 82

The area is all set for the bonfire. The lights are hanging above the area making it cheerful, and the food is being brought out. The pack members are starting to gather around just as the sun is setting and the sky still had enough light in it to see.

Anthony and Melody got on the platform. "Members of the Silver Lake Pack, we have an announcement to make. My beautiful mate, your Luna, is pregnant." Cheers and congratulations are heard throughout the yard. "We are going to do a gender reveal and wanted you all to be part of it."

Bonnie asks, "Are you ready for the reveal?"

"Go for it."

The balloon went up, and you see an arrow hit the balloon. Blue confetti sprawls across the sky. Before the last of the confetti leaves the sky another balloon goes up and another arrow hits the balloon, blue comes from this one also.

Melody is smiling (partly because she is having boys and doesn't have to do this again) at Anthony who says. "It's a boy?"

"No, silly, it is not a boy." Anthony seemed confused. "It is two boys."

Hearing this Anthony starts kissing Melody all over her face. "It's twin boys!" is yelled through the pack and the cheers erupt, the pack is thrilled with the news. The inner circle of friends all cheer with each other, overjoyed with the news.

"Let's see you talk about me now." That is all Anthony says to Kody and his head warrior, Paul. They were some of the ones picking on him.

Kody clears his throat, "I would like to say something. First congratulations, Luna. Alpha, this is wonderful news. Second is that your boys will be playing with our little one as they grow up."

Laurie yells, "Amanda, you're pregnant too?"

Another round of cheers starts for the news that their Beta Kody and his mate were having a new addition to the family.

Amanda says in a joking way, "It was that damn concert, It has gotten both of us."

"Do you know what you are having?" Bonnie asks.

"Yes, it is a." Bonnie put her hand over Amanda's mouth.

"Whisper what it is in my ear." Amanda furrowed her brows. "Come here for a minute." Amanda whispers the gender to her.

Branden, not understanding what Bonnie was doing approached her. "What are you doing?"

"Don't ask questions, Branden. Just come with me."

Ten minutes later she is back with another pair of balloons. "I thought it would be nice if we did this for the beta also."

Anthony goes back to the platform bringing Kody and Amanda with him. "Pack members, can I have your attention. We have great news; our Beta Kody and his mate Amanda are expecting a pup of their own. We are going to share the moment when he finds out what he is having."

The balloon is released and then another arrow goes through the air, the color pink comes out of the balloon. "It's a girl." Kody's smile goes from ear to ear, he turns to Amanda. "I never thought that I would find my mate as for having a pup, being I am thirty. Then you came into my life, and it has all changed. You have made my life complete. You are my blessing." Then he kisses her a long and passionate kiss.

Bonnie yells. "Wait we are not done yet. Look over the stage." Amanda points. Another balloon goes up and the arrow hits it and once again pink comes out for the second time.

"Twins? We are having twin girls?" Amanda giggled and she nodded her head yes. Kody was so happy.

"Is there anyone else who has something to say?" Everyone looks at Bonnie.

"Don't get any ideas, I am not having a pup anytime soon."

Branden smirks, "Not if I have my way." Bonnie was now blushing.

"Not until we have a marking ceremony."

"We will set it up for this week." Branden says as he winks at Bonnie who rolls her eyes at him. "Laurie and Melody, will you help us please?"

Laurie gave Bonnie and Branden a hug. "We will start in the morning; we can't get it done in a week though."

"You have to admit I was right." Papa Charley bragged, "You never have only one. We are going to need a bigger house."

"We have three months to get it done. Whatever it is we're doing." Melody shakes her finger at Papa Charley. "We will figure it out, don't worry about it tonight."

"Kody is in the pack house, why don't we give them the house we have? It even has a music room, and enough bedrooms. It will make a perfect home for them if they want it. We can build another one."

Melody shook her head no. "That is your house with Hope. I could not ask you to give that up. Not even for me"

"My life is not the past. You taught me that. My life is the, here and now. The life I have with my daughter and grandpups. Little one, you might think I saved you, when the truth is you saved me." He then kisses her on the top of her head.

Michael couldn't take any more of the father, daughter scene. "I have to get out of here for a while I will be back after I calm down." Michael shifted into his wolf and took off.

Drew wasn't doing much better standing on the outskirts of the party with Eric. "This is when we should give them the present." Eric ands it to Drew. "Give it to them I will go with you."

Drew walked up to Melody with Eric behind him. "Luna Melody, when we heard about the gender reveal, we wanted to do something. This afternoon we went out and got this for the baby. Being men and not knowing much about babies, I hope it is something you would like."

"That was very thoughtful of you." When she opens it there is two wolves, each playing Brahms Lullaby. "How did you know there was two of them?"

"You had twins then you had triplets we were hoping this was enough wolves for them."

Michael came back seeing no one was watching him; saw an opening to sneak into Anthony's office. He looked through the files, taking pictures of the pack's borders and the patrols, along with the safety set up for the pack. "Charley, meet me at the back of the pack house, now."

"Be there in ten, Cameron." Charley makes excuses and heads to his brother, "What's up Cameron?"

"I think Michael was in Anthony's office. I saw him outside his door, he was acting funny and almost ran from it."

Charley was pissed again because of these sleezy wolves. "You have to tell Anthony."

"I don't want to ruin their night; it can wait till morning to say something. Help me keep an eye on the three of them."

"At least get some guards to help watch them and the office."

"I have two sets of guards on the way to watch both office doors. I can't send too many to follow them it would be suspicious looking. That is why I need your help watching them."

The next morning, Anthony comes in the kitchen to find Uncle Charley waiting for him. "Did you sleep well last night? You don't look yourself, Uncle Charley."

"You need to go to your office and talk to your dad. It is important."

"Did something happen last night? I don't like how you are talking."

"Go talk to your dad, I don't want Melody to hear us talking."
