The next morning Melody got up still tired, she knew being pregnant was going to take a toll. She looked around the room to find Anthony was gone. That night she had heard him getting up and coming back to bed. As her feet hit the floor the door opened to Anthony coming in. "You are up, I was coming to get you."

"I have to get to the hospital. Luckily, I don't have to be there too early. Taking over the cancer ward has given me later starts in the day."

"Bonnie is already downstairs waiting for you."

"Wait what time is it?"

"It's 8:30. You slept later than usual."

"I thought it was 7;30 I am going to be late. Shit." Melody ran to the bathroom. Fifteen minutes later she was greeting Bonnie. "I am sorry I overslept."

"We have fifteen minutes to get there here I grabbed you a muffin to eat on the way."

"Thanks." They arrived at the hospital only to see Drew there. "Alpha Drew, what brings you here so early?"

"Melody, I have to leave your pack for a while to handle some issues at my pack. I will be back later this afternoon. Knowing I wouldn't be able to see my dad today I came early to talk to him."

"I see. I will do your father's treatment last so you have time for your visit."

As they left Drew couldn't keep his eyes off of Melody. He watched her enter a patients room then went to see his father. "Hi, Dad. How are they treating you?"

"They have been very kind to me here. The nurses told me Melody will be here to check on me."

"I saw her in the hall. She is saving you for last, so we have time to talk."

"How are you doing here? I know it is hard on you seeing her."

"I am handling it. She seems happy and that is what I owe her."

"Why don't you have Sasha join you? She could help you deal with your feelings."

"It will complicate things with her here. I am going to leave for a while today. There are a few things I need to tend to."

"Are there any problems at the pack? You don't have to stay with me."

"No, I am having a business meeting to see if we can partner with another company."

Hearing this Kevin felt better. "I will see you later then."

He met up with Michael and Eric. "Have you reached them?"

Michael nodded. "They will meet us in an hour. We should tell our hosts that we are leaving for the rest of the day."

Drew hates this, if it wasn't for a good reason he would not be answering to Anthony. "I will go to his office. This is ridiculous, an Alpha having to punch in to go somewhere."

"We have to show them respect, even if we don't have any for them."

That comment had Drew glaring at Eric. "Shut up or I will let you deal with him." Aggravated by Eric, Drew walked to Anthony's office.

"Drew, what is it?"

"Anthony, I came to tell you that I will be leaving the pack for a while today. We will be back late this afternoon."

"It wasn't necessary for you to check in with me. The guards know to expect you coming and going. Will we see you at dinner tonight?"

"We should be back in plenty of time."

"Beta Branden will come for you when it is time to eat."

Everyone in the pack was calm with them not being around. Anthony mind linked Melody. "Baby, I wanted to remind you that The Skyline Pack members are coming for dinner."
