Eva was immediately taken to the med bay, where Bruce looked her over. Steve paced in the main room while Loki held Thor's hand, both worrying about Eva. After about an hour, maybe two, Bruce left the recovery room to let Eva rest and went to inform the team of what he found.

Everyone jumped up, as if it were a real hospital waiting room, when Bruce entered. Loki moved up next to Steve.

"How is she?" the green-clad god asked.

Bruce answered, "She has a minor concussion, but with rest, she will be fine. The serum is already healing it."

Everyone seemed to let out a collective sigh of relief. Eva would probably be good by tomorrow, if not the day after. Then, Steve remembered something.

"Loki, did you call Evelyn 'sister' earlier?" the blond super soldier asked.

Loki gave him a weary look as he responded, "Yes. It kind of slipped out."

Thor, seeing the concern on Loki's face, explained, "It is a result of the blood bond. They are now, officially, siblings by blood."

Tony then inquired, "So, she's a goddess now?"

Loki shook his head and said, "No, she is still mortal. She's more like a twin but born from another. That is the most apt description."

Bucky, tired of the Gods being cryptic after everything, demanded, "Explain better."

Thor just chuckled and said, "Siblings by blood, but not parentage."

Wanda laughed as she replied, "That's one way to get a twin brother."

"Should I be worried?" Steve asked.

Thor looked a little uncomfortable as he responded, "She may become more... stabby and be a little angrier than before, but no."

Steve looked towards the med bay. "I can live with that. As long as she is still Evelyn at the fundamental level, I don't care what changes she goes through."

Loki put a hand on Steve's shoulder and said, "There is no need to worry about such a thing."

Bruce cleared his throat before replying, "Steve, you should go see Evelyn. She'll want to see you when she wakes up."

Steve nodded. Loki gave him a smile and nod before going back to sit next to Thor. Everyone dispersed then, leaving the Gods alone. Loki let a single tear escape.

"I thought I was going to lose her," Loki admitted.

"Your sister is tough," Thor said, pulling his lover into his lap to hold. "After all that you both suffered together, she won't leave you now."

Loki kissed Thor. The raven-haired man had no other way of showing his golden partner what his words meant to him.
