With the samples in Bruce's hands, Eva was discharged from the med bay. More to keep her from destroying the room than he thought she should be up and moving around.

"Just try to rest as much as possible," he instructed. "Steve, maybe you should carry her out for now or I can get a wheelchair for her to use until tomorrow."

"I'm walking out of this damn room!" Eva replied.

Steve ran around the bed and picked Eva up, much to her annoyance. He refused to let her walk. He, Loki, and Eva went back to the main room. No one even dared to ask why Eva was mad. Hell, none of them even noticed the three of them had entered the room.

"Come on, sha!" Sam pleaded. "It'll be fun!"

Bucky replied, "Not happening, doll. Last time we went, I fell on my ass."

"What's going on?" Steve asked, sitting Eva on the couch.

Thor answered, "The birdman and soldier are planning date night."

"And Barnes keeps saying 'no' to everything," Yelena added.

Steve decided to play mediator and inquired, "What's your idea for date night, Bucky?"

His friend responded, "I suggested dancing, but Sam shot that down instantly." He sighed. "We do this every week. It's a ritual at this point. We both know we'll come home to watch a movie and cuddle."

Eva looked at Bucky in shock and asked, "You know how to cuddle?"

Steve smiled and said under his breath, "Oh, boy. Here we go."

"Yes, Evelyn," Bucky replied, annoyed, "I know how to cuddle. What are you getting at?"

Eva laughed and said, "I thought you said it was unmanly to cuddle."

"I never said that. I said I was waiting for the right one."

Eva laughed some more. "Sure you did."

Sam looked pissed and asked, "What is she talking about?"

Bucky could see his boyfriend was upset and tried to do damage control by saying, "I have no idea, doll."

Sam didn't like that answer, but he wasn't going to miss going to eat at a restaurant with Bucky and all but growled, "We are going to be visiting this when we get back home!"

Eva stopped Bucky as he went to follow Sam to the car, whispering, "You can thank me later."

Bucky didn't need any other hints. He realized what Eva had done and gave her a cheeky smile. Hell, he'd be thanking her a thousand times over if he could walk in the morning. Then, he ran to catch up with Sam, who could and would leave him behind if he waited any longer. He managed to get in just before Sam had stepped on the gas.
