"Today's the day." Percy said, stretching and getting out of bed.

"Yep," Matthew said, getting up as well.

Jason rubbed his eyes before yawning, "I am so not ready for this."

"You both will do great." Matthew said, "Don't worry too much."

Jason ran a hand through his hair, sighing, "This won't be good."

They got changed and walked out of the room.

"Are you avoiding Annabeth?" Matthew asked Percy.

"N- no."

"You're a terrible liar."

"Maybe.."

"You are aren't you."

Percy sighed, looking down, "Yes.."

"Why?"

"Because.."

"That's not an answer."

"So it's an answer when you say it, but it's not when I do?"

"Exactly."

"And you call me a hypocrite."

"You are." Matthew shrugged. He patted Percy's shoulder, "She likes you."

"You're just saying that."

"I think she does." Jason said, "I've seen her look at you, Percy. People don't just stare at their friends like that."

Percy's confidence fell flat when a few owls glared right at him as they walked to the great hall.

"Why do I feel like everyone's looking at me?" Percy asked Jason.

"Sorry to break it to you, man, but they are."

"Great." He said taking a seat.

Harry wasn't there yet, so Percy turned fully towards Jason.

Jason sat back in his chair, looking up at the ceiling, "I'm so done for."

"What do you want to pick?" Percy asked, taking on the therapist role.

"Piper, obviously, but.. I can't let down the others."

"How will you let them down by picking Piper?"

"Because.. our cohort has to merge so they become stronger and work more efficiently."

"You mean cabin?"

"Yeah, I guess.. never really heard anyone call it that."

Harry walked by and sat down as well, slumping into his chair, "I'm not ready for this." He muttered.

"Not you too," Percy sighed, "Come on, I can't handle two depressed guys."

"I'm not depressed." They both muttered.

Percy sat back in his chair too, "Let's just get this over with."

After eating, they made their way towards the others.

"You should really be careful." Rachel said.

"I'll be fine." Percy shrugged.

"No, seriously," she said.

"Yeah, I'll be fine."

The others watched the conversation go on and Rachel blushed when she realised this.

"What?" Percy asked.

Matthew shook his head, "You are something else."

"Thank you," he beamed, "That was a compliment, right?"
