Percy had walked away, obviously disgusted by what he had done. Percy was someone with years of experience, with near invincibility, yet he fought with someone that looked like a leukemia patient.

Annabeth followed him, knowing that he was beating himself up about the situation.

"It's not your fault," she said, holding his hand.

"I told you already. I told you that I can't control myself." He said. "I just proved myself right."

"Don't say that,"

"It's the truth." He turned away, "You're scared of me too."

"Percy,"

"I see it," he said. "It's in your eyes. I get it.. I do."

"I'm not scared of you," she said, stepping closer. "I'll never be scared of you."

"You don't know that."

"I do," she said. "I know that you would never hurt someone who doesn't deserve it."

She held his hand, stroking it with her palm.

"Your the best person I know," she said.

He hugged her, burying his head into the crook of her neck.

"I love you," he mumbled.

"I love you too," she smiled, leaning her head on his. "But you should really take a shower."

He smiled slightly, pulling apart from her and kissing her. "I'll get to it."

She smiled back, nodding.

He was always amazed by how easily Annabeth was able to switch his mood.

He was now smiling as he walked back to the Slytherin common room where Draco and his posse glared at him, but he couldn't care less.

He quickly took a shower, then changed into a comfortable pair of pants, and a loose hoodie.

He walked out, ready to search for his friends, only to bump into professor Umbridge.

"Mr Jackson," she said. "I hope you understand your attempts on harming Mr Malfoy won't be dismissed without proper punishment."

"I know," he said.

She smiled, "Your parents will be called tomorrow, since I hear that it isn't the first time something like this happened. Also, you and Mr Potter will never play Quidditch again."

"What? I thought it was only for one year." He said, confused.

"The ministry thinks a lifetime ban from Quidditch for what you've done would be better," she said. "I hope this will help you regret your actions. Also the three of you will be serving detention together for a week."
