"You could break my heart in two, but when it heals it beats for you. I know it's forward but it's true. No lie, I'd do back to you."

"Give me the prophecy,"

Everyone turned to Lucius Malfoy, who was standing next to a particularly happy Bellatrix.

"Never," Harry said.

Percy and Rachel immediately rushed to the rest of the group, wands in hand.

"Don't you get ever curious," Lucius asked. "Don't you ever wonder about  how you're connected to the dark lord?"

"Voldemort doesn't deserve a place in my mind,"

"Repeat his name and it'll be last thing you say," Bellatrix snarled.

Lucius held her back, "It's a simple transaction, Potter. We get the prophecy, you and your little friends live." He said, smirking when his gaze locked with Percy's. "We have Hecate's blessing, Perceus. She wanted destruction."

"You liar,"

"Even she knows that the dark lord will rise." He said.

"See?" Another voice said from the darkness. "I told you the gods were no good."

"Luke.." Annabeth said.

"Show yourself!" Percy yelled, "Come fight me, you coward!"

"Oh, Percy," Luke said with mock sympathy, "If I did, you'd be dead."

Percy scoffed.

From the shadows, Percy saw his glimmering blue eyes, but they weren't light like they were before. His eyes were darker, literally and metaphorically. There was something very off about him.

"You've grown," he said.

"Yeah, you haven't."

Luke smiled wickedly, "I've been a little too busy for that."

"You sick asshole,"

His smile grew. "One year left, Jackson. I hope you actually stand a chance against me by then." He turned to Annabeth and his smile turned slightly wistful. "Last chance, Annie. Join me."

"This isn't you," she said, shaking her head.

He pursed his lips, nodding. "Well, you never knew me well enough to know who I was."

"That's a lie and you know it,"

"I'm sorry, Annie, but it's the truth." He said before turning back to Percy. "Tick tock, sea boy. Now, we don't have all day. Lucius," he nodded towards Harry.

"Hand over the prophecy,"

"Luke, you can't do this," Annabeth said.

"It's nothing personal," he said smiling slightly before his gaze settled on Percy. "Scratch that, you ruined my life."
