LXXXVIII) Deluded.

"Percy.. Jackson?"

"Uhh.. do I know you?" He asked, confused.

"Probably not," she said. "I'm Daphne's cousin."

"Daphne?" He thought, squinting his eyes, "Daphne.. Daphne.. uhh.. you'll have to elaborate. I have a terrible memory."

"Daphne Greengrass." She said. "She's in Slytherin?"

"Ohh," Percy said, his eyes widening. "Ohh.. oh. You're her cousin?"

"Yeah, I thought I recognised you."

"How do you know me?"

"Daphne sent me a picture."

Percy scrunched his eyebrows together, "How does she have a picture of me?"

"She googled you."

"Oh," Percy said. "Well, it's nice to meet you."

"I'm Mallory." She smiled.

Now that he knew that they were cousins, he noticed that they had the same blue eyes.

The third girl with wavy brown hair and black eyes was shamelessly gawking at Percy, "I'm Jessica." She said, her hand on his arm.

He uncomfortably shifted away, "Nice to meet you." He said.

"Really?" He asked. "No way."

Ethan shook his head, "Ἀπέστησε ἡ Ἀνναβέθ ἀπὸ σοῦ;" he asked. (Did Annabeth break up with you?)

"No," Percy said, his mood dropping slightly.

"Really?" Ethan asked. "Then why were you sad?"

"I'll- I'll explain later."

"What you guys talking about?" Hannah asked.

"His girlfriend," Ethan said.

"Right," Mallory said. "You're still dating that blonde, right? What was her name again.. Annabell?"

"Annabeth," Percy said. "Yeah."

"Yeah, when Daphne found out, she was pissed."

Percy scrunched his nose, "Ohh.. right.. yeah.."

"Why do you sound so sad?" Jessica asked, "Trouble in paradise."

"Not really.. but kind of.. yeah."

"Did you two fight?" Hannah asked.

"No," Percy said. "Just.. problems."

"You think she's cheating?" Mallory asked.

"Who would cheat on him?" Jessica asked, turning to her friend.

"No, she's definitely not." He said, before shaking his head. "I'm starving, let's go."

"What about you, Ethan. Have a girlfriend?" Jessica asked as they walked.

"No," Ethan said.

"Ooh, how about Katie? She your type?" Percy asked.

"Gardner?" He asked. "Isn't she dating Travis?"

"She is?" Percy asked. "Well.. what about.. hmm.. I don't know.. who do you like?"

"No one."

"You must like someone." He said. "What about Drew? She's pretty."

"The bitch?" Ethan asked. "Seriously, do you know rude she is?"

Percy shrugged, "I thought you were pretty rude at first too." He said. "She was pretty nice the last time we met, though."
