"I'll lift you when you're feeling low, I'll hold you when the night gets cold, you'll never have to be alone, and that's all you need to know."

"We need to break up,"
A tense moment passed, but they both knew there was no avoiding it.
"Yeah, yeah. Good idea."

Months ago.
"I don't know if Percy's the type of guy to cheat. He does love her a lot."
"Well, yeah, but feelings change. I've seen the way he looked at Rachel."
"Hey," Jason interrupted, mad.
The 5th years stared at him, wide eyed.
"Aren't there better things you could do than gossip about a happy couple?" he asked. "Believe it or not, there are many other people the prediction could he about."
"S- sorry," a girl said, sounding genuinely ashamed.
"Scary," Reyna snorted, behind him. "Maybe if you use that voice on Octavian, he might actually listen."
He rolled his eyes. "You know that's impossible. For someone with such a large forehead, he doesn't seem to have a lot going on up there." He pointed at his skull.
The other kids took the opportunity to escape, not keen on facing another confrontation.
She chuckled. "Gods, he looks so stupid with that teddy bear of his."
"Yeah, I always found it odd that he had to carry it everywhere."
They continued talking about random subjects shifting away from the serious demeanors they always held.

"Unbelievable," Dolores gasped.
Everyone stared in shock as their lesson had been interrupted.
"Marietta?" Cho said, confused.
The girl hid behind the adults, looking at her feet, ashamed.
"You sold us out?" Matthew asked.
"She told the truth," Dolores chirped. "Now, Mr Potter, Mr Jackson, follow me."
"Why?" Harry asked.
"Because I know that you started this.. program." She said.
"Do you have proof?" Annabeth asked.
She frowned before her cheery smile replaced it. "Follow me, we're going to talk to Dumbledore about this."
"But-"
"Annabeth," Percy held her hand. "It's fine."
"We'll go. We did nothing wrong," Harry said.
