Sunlight slowly peaked into the room, while Ethan still stared at the note.

He had run so many frustrated hands through his hair, that he looked like he had been struck by lightning.

He was still dazed. He knew that he was never going back to that lifestyle – not after what Percy had done for him – but he couldn't help but wonder.

What if I did?

It wasn't an unusual thought. His life was on the line, so the thought definitely crossed his mind more than once.

He felt guilty immediately after, though, hating himself for even considering it, even though it was just for a moment.

In the end, he looked over at the clock.

4:30

He ran a frustrated hand through his hair before walking into the bathroom and getting ready.

The girl sat in front of the mirror, looking at her tear streaked face.

Father would be disappointed.

She had come to terms with Sarah's death a long time ago, though that didn't mean that it hurt any less.

Hades, now that she had found out the truth, she felt even more pain and guilt building behind her pretty eyes.

She was frustrated. For a long time, she had felt relatively okay since she had had someone to blame, but now that she realised that her accusations were just a coverup, masking her own guilt, she felt even worse for Ethan.

How he had managed to stay relatively sane for so long was a mystery to her, since she felt like she was losing herself every day that she lived, slowly but surely.

She walked to the bathroom, splashing water onto her face. She looked into the mirror and almost smiled at how ironic it all was.

So perfect on the outside, yet so broken on the inside.

It was laughable.

She sighed, looking at the morning sun slowly filter into the room and decided that it was time to end things.

It's now or never, right?

She felt slightly bad for Rachel, since she would be the one to discover her body, but up to this point, she felt too hollow to care.

Rachel's owl caught her eye from across the room, looking at her accusingly.

Drew rolled her eyes. A stupid bird won't fix my problems.

She filled up the bathtub, thinking about her sad life.

From birth, she was daddy's little girl. He had always brought home women, but none of them earned the title of being her mother, so you could say that he was a bit of a player in that sense.
