He regretted not kissing her. That's all he could think about the entire time.

"You did the right thing," Ethan said.

Matthew scrunched his eyebrows together, looking at them, confused.

Larry was spending the night in someone else's room, so they could freely talk about stuff.

"I don't know," he said. "She looked disappointed."

"You're talking about Annabeth?"

"Yeah," Percy sighed. "I don't think I can do this."

"Do what?" Matthew asked, slightly alarmed.

Percy sighed again, running a hand down his face, "I hate this."

Ethan looked at Percy empathetically, "You have a year."

"Someone explain." Matthew said.

Percy looked at him weakly, "I really don't want to think about it." He said, before lying back down. "Please, don't tell anyone we had this conversation."

Bobby had caught him up on the multiverse theory, but he felt like the gravity of this situation was slightly different. He saw how genuinely tired Percy looked so he didn't say anything, lying down as well.

Percy's mind went back to Annabeth. As much as he just wanted to be selfish, he didn't want that for her.

He was lost.

He didn't know how long he stared at the ceiling before he heard the door clicking open.

As much as he wanted to stay away, if she was there, he wouldn't be able to resist.

He closed his eyes, hoping that the noise was a part of his imagination.

If Percy was asleep, he wouldn't have been able to hear the gentle footsteps that made their way towards him.

"Percy," she whispered.

He slowly opened his eyes. "What're you doing here?"

She smiled at him, "I just.. missed you."

He smiled slightly, "Couldn't wait until tomorrow?" He teased.

Yep. Now that she was here, he wanted her to stay.

He moved over to the side and Annabeth got onto the bed, turning to face Percy.

The boy looked at her sadly, How do I do this? He wondered.

She pressed her lips on his and wrapped her arms around his waist.

"I love you," she said, her grey eyes glinting in the moonlight.

"I.. I love you too."

He was so conflicted. He really wanted to forget about it and just live life.

Annabeth's thumb gently stroked his cheek, "What's wrong?" She asked.

"Nothing," he kissed her forehead. "Nothing's wrong."

"That's a lie."

"It's not," he said, hugging her closer.

"Why don't you talk to me?" She whispered, feeling her eyes droop.

"What do you want to talk about?" he whispered back.

"You," she said, looking up at him. "You never talk about yourself."

He raised an eyebrow at her, "You want me to talk about myself more?"
