Kirstie and Avi had just arrived home, an hour or so after lunch.

Mitch and Scott arrived right after, Scott carrying three bags.

Mitch immediately found Wyatt and scooped him off the floor to hold. "My little, baby Wy Wy!"

Kirstie heard the front door slam, and ran out of the kitchen to jump on Scott to hug him. "Welcome home! How was it?!"

Scott dropped everything to catch her, and then laughed a little. "Hello to you too. I missed you, Kit."

"I missed you too, Alpha! So much!"

Scott looked down at the bags he'd dropped. "I have to carry these up to my room, then I'll come back and I'll tell you all about it. Okay?"

"I'll just hold on. I promise I won't fall."

Scott didn't think anything of it, because of how used to carrying Mitch he had become.

He just squatted a little to grab the luggage once more, and then proceeded up the staircase. He told Kirstie the first things he could think of about the honeymoon, leaving out all the explicit details.

When he finally made it to his room, he tossed the bags onto his bed and then wrapped his arms back around Kirstie. "Well, I'm impressed. Have you been working out? I can't believe you held on the entire way up the stairs."

"You're one to talk, Alpha. You carried an extra hundred or so pounds on you, while carrying three heavy bags, and walking up a staircase."

"Yeah I know. My thighs are burning."

Kirstie laughed, and then dropped her feet to the ground. "So did you guys make little Mitchie babies?!"

Scott's smile dropped immediately, almost like it was never there, and he looked down to the floor. "Well... No."

"What? Why not? Isn't that the whole point of a Honeymoon?"

"Yeah, I know. I'm a huge disappointment because I'm not man enough to do it."

Kirstie reached out and put a hand on his arm. "Alpha, that's not what I meant. I'm sorry for saying that."

Alex suddenly came thundering up the stairs, and ran into Scott when he hugged him. "Welcome home! We all missed you very much, Alpha."

Scott gave him a quick hug, and then pushed him away. "Missed you too, Xand."

Alex grinned at him, but it slowly faded. "Is something wrong?"

"No. I just... Don't ask me about the Honeymoon, okay?"

"Of course, Sir."

Scott looked back down to the ground. "I missed you guys a lot... Can I have another hug?"

Kirstie and Alex both eagerly jumped back on him, having missed their caring Alpha very much.

Mitch had gone through the house and said hello to everyone, until he found Kevin pacing back and forth in his room, a few notecards in his hands.

Mitch smiled. "Are you nervous about your presentation?"

"Luckily it's only one among many, so perhaps it will be easily forgotten if it isn't very good."

"You're the one that wrote it, so I'm sure it's fantastic."

"That's kind of you."

Todrick peeked his head into the room. "Kev, I'd like to hang out with you for a bit to advise you until we need to leave."
