Avi and Kirstie dropped Esther off at home, and then proceeded to their own house.

Avi stopped in the driveway, turned off the car, and slowly leaned forward to rest his forehead against the steering wheel.

Kirstie unbuckled herself, and leaned over the console, resting a hand on Avi's back. "Alpha..?"

"What, Princess?" He asked quietly, with no variation in the pitch of his voice.

"Please just... If you have to cry, you know I'm here for you."

Avi didn't move, but Kirstie could tell by the way he was breathing, that he was crying.

Kirstie moved the console out of her way, before leaning across the seats to hug Avi to the best of her ability. "Aw... I'm sorry that she left you... She loved you so much. I'm sure she's so proud of you, even now."

"Thank you." He whispered.

Scott and Mitch left the house to get ingredients for the Betas to make lunch.

Scott was reading a label on a box that he'd plucked off of one of the shelves, Mitch tucked under his arm, when Mitch giggled all of a sudden.

Scott looked down. "What?"

"Look how cute those people are over there."

Scott looked to his left where Mitch was gesturing, and smiled at a female Omega begging her Alpha to buy her a box of the crackers in her hand.

The Alpha finally smiled, and took the box from her before throwing it in the cart while shaking his head fondly.

The Omega grinned, and leaned over to kiss his cheek, before they continued walking down the grocery aisle.

Scott tossed the box into the basket Mitch was carrying, and then took the basket from Mitch's arms to carry for himself.

Mitch walked slowly down the aisle with him, Scott scanning the shelves carefully to find the other few things Kevin had been describing.

Mitch gasped and pointed at a box of cereal. "Oooh!"

"If you want it, grab it."

Mitch looked up at him, unsure if he was being serious or not, and then turned to grab the box.

Scott walked over to the other side of the row to grab something else for Kevin, putting it in the basket alongside Mitch's cereal.

Mitch reached up to touch Scott's hand on the arm that was draped over Mitch's shoulder, and interlaced his fingers with Scott's.

Scott grinned in an almost sly way, but he tried to concentrate on finding what Kevin wanted.

As they turned down a different aisle, Scott saw a Beta worker knelt down, picking up some things that had fallen from the shelves.

Scott immediately walked over, kneeling down beside her and setting his shopping basket on the ground next to him. "Are you okay?"

The Beta looked startled, but quickly relaxed. "Oh! Yes, I am fine. Thank you. I just... Knocked a few things over."

Scott nodded a few times, helping her restock the shelf in question.

"Oh, Sir, you don't have to do that."

Scott just smiled at her, and turned his head a little to see Mitch sanding next to them. "Mitchie, would you mind helping a little bit too?"

Mitch knelt down quickly and did as he was told.
