Kirstie had been thinking about this, the entire hour that Avi was gone. So it all just came barreling out of her at once.

"For starters? You shouldn't have walked out that door. It would have been so much easier for Kevin to have just left in a different situation. As a perfect Beta, he'd have found another pack easily. Scott could've just left. He could've taken Mitch with him, and started his own pack. A pack that he would protect with his life, just like this one. But they didn't. Because they respect you. But you clearly don't respect them."

"Of course I respect them."

"Then why are you treating them all so terribly? You made Kevin feel like it was his fault you left, just because he was finally brave enough to confront you about something you were doing unjustly. You made Scott feel like he was keeping you from Grace, keeping you from your family, just because he got hurt. That's not his fault."

Avi, although he wouldn't say it out loud, actually agreed with those statements. "I... I guess that's true."

Kirstie wasn't done though. "You always punish Mitchie for doing something wrong, although if I were in his place you'd give me an alternative."

"Kit, you're my wife. I understand what you're saying, believe me I do, but it's not like I can just push my love for you to the side."

"Then let Scott punish me in your place. If you can't do it, let him do it. Give him the opportunity to show you that he is an Alpha, while also showing the Omegas that you're being fair."

"Babe, we don't even do punishments anymore. Move on."

"But still. You treat Mitchie the worst of all of us, and I know you're jealous of Scott, and you used to like Mitch before you met me, but that's no excuse. Omegas make mistakes all the time. Just like you. Just like everyone, for that matter. But giving us different consequences isn't fair."

"Okay. I'm sorry. I'll work on that." Avi responded honestly, meeting Mitch's eyes for a brief second.

Kirstie leaned forward a little, as she was now on a roll. "And another thing; Please apologize to Kevin for blaming everything on him. You need to learn how to take criticism. Because that's all he was doing."

Avi nodded once, and turned to look at Kevin, who was sitting on the other couch with Jake and Todrick. "I'm really sorry, Kevin. I truly am. I took all my frustrations out on you, simply because you were the only one who stood up to me. And... It was an awful thing to do. I'm sorry."

Kevin smiled at him, and stood up to hug him as well as he could from Avi's still sitting position. "I forgive you, Alpha."

Avi glanced at Kirstie for a second when Kevin sat down, and then he turned to face Scott.

He reached out and grabbed one of Scott's hands, looking him in the eye. "I'm sorry for being so hard on you all the time. I set my expectations too high, and I work you way too hard although I should be thanking you for everything you've done for our pack."

Scott shook his head a little. "Avi, you don't have to--"

"No, let me get this out. I'm sorry I always say rude things to you. You're easily the most insecure of all of us, except maybe Alexander, and it's probably my fault for all the times I've squashed your confidence down. And that's going to stop. I'm really, really sorry."

"Oh.. That's not a problem."

"Do you forgive me?"

"Of course I do."
