Kevin called Esther's Alpha to ask about Grace, being sure to warn them that Michael had said something about Grace, and he could be on his way to their home.

Avi had listened to the conversation, and Kevin finally decided that he would take Todrick with him to go check on the child in person.

Avi was unable to drive, with his hurt ankle, so he asked to go with them.

Kirstie refused to leave his side, and begged to be taken too. Wanting to see her baby again more than anything.

As the four of them were walking out the door, Avi being helped by Kevin, Kirstie stopped beside Scott for one last second.

She bent to hug him as well as she could even though Scott was sitting down. "Thank you for protecting us. Thank you for helping my Alpha as much as you could. And thank you for saving Mitchie. Thank you."

Scott smiled a little, hugging her back carefully. "You're welcome, Snowflake."

"We love you very much, and I want you to know that you're appreciated in our Pack."

"Thank you for telling me... I love you too, Kit."

Todrick walked back into the house, peeking into the living room. "Kirstin? Are you okay?"

She let go of Scott, and skipped over to Todrick. "Yeah, I'm fine. Sorry to make you guys wait." She turned back to Scott for one second, and waved at both he and Mitch.

Mitch waved back, and blew a kiss at her before giggling.

Todrick led her out the door, and shouted back. "Look after Alex, please?"

Scott spoke loudly back to him. "Yes, Sir."

Scott's energy had been mostly drained after his encounter with Michael, so it didn't take long before he fell asleep on Mitch's shoulder.

Mitch was watching the T.V. with a smile, and he giggled at something, looking to Scott to share it with him. "Did--?" He stopped at Scott's peaceful appearance, and grinned widely. "Aw."

Alex walked out of the kitchen with a bag of ice, and handed it to Mitch, now that the other bag of ice had melted.

Mitch switched the two bags, setting it carefully on Scott's hand, and then handed the other bag to Alex. "Thanks." He spoke softly.

Alex nodded, smiling at him. "Would you like anything? Like.. A snack? Or I can make you some hot chocolate, and marshmallows and whip cream and stuff!"

Mitch grinned at him. "Would you? I love hot chocolate."

"I know you do, silly. That's why I said it." Alex giggled at him, and then turned to go into the kitchen.

Jake was already in the kitchen waiting for him, eating an apple as he stood beside the counter. "Hey babe. Are they okay?"

"Yes, Sir. Alpha Scott is asleep, but Mitch looks content so... I'm making him some hot cocoa though! Do you want some?"

"No thank you. You're sweet."

Alex stopped, his back turned to Jake as he got out the ingredients, and turned slowly. "You think I'm sweet?"

"As I've told you many times before."

"Aw, thank you! That's really nice."

"Wanna know what else I think?"

Alex turned to face him completely. "Of course I do. About what?"

"You."

Alex blushed a little, and turned back to grab some marshmallows out of the pantry. "Oh.. You don't have to do that."
