Alex wished Todrick some sweet dreams, and then walked down the stairs to lay down with Jake.

As he descended the stairs, Jake suddenly walked over to the bottom of the staircase. "Hey, Lexi? Is that you?"

It scared Alex so bad, that he lost his footing on the stairs and fell down the rest of the way.

Jake ran forward and dropped down to the ground. "Oh God, Allie, I'm so sorry! Are you okay?!"

Alex's eyes went blue out of pain, and he whimpered quietly. "Owwie..."

"Honey, I am so sorry. Are you hurt?"

"My elbow hurts a little."

Todrick came running down the stairs. "What in the world?! Alex, are you okay?!"

Kevin came running behind him. "Is someone hurt?"

Todrick pushed past Jake and kneeled down by Alex, lifting his arm with wide eyes. "Oh God, look at your arm..."

Alex just shrugged. "I can't feel it anyway."

Kevin helped him stand, and walked towards the kitchen to find a few first aid things. "What happened?"

Alex shrugged a little. "Jakey scared me a little is all."

Todrick heard that and pushed Jake's shoulders a little. "What did you do to him?"

"Nothing! I just said his name and I guess it scared him."

"You guess? Now, why on Earth would you shout his name in a dark room?"

"I just asked if it was him!"

Kevin peeked his head back into the room. "Guys, stop shouting. You're making it worse."

Todrick walked past Jake and into the kitchen, where Alex was sitting on the counter, crying.

Jake pushed past him though, and stood between Alex's legs. "Honey, don't cry. We can get you something to make the pain go away."

Alex wiped his eyes with the back of his hand and sniffled a little. "It's not that. I just don't like when you guys argue. I love both of you, and I hate when you both get protective at the same time."

Todrick frowned. "I'm sorry, honey, I just don't want you to end up with someone that's gonna hurt you again."

Jake scoffed. "Well if you'd give me a chance."

Todrick turned to him again, ready to snap at him, but instead respected Alex's words and held up his hand toward him instead. He turned back to Alex. "I'm sorry for arguing. Please just talk to me. Are you okay?"
