Scott had just sent a response to Todrick's mother about the Counsel reformation, when he heard the bathroom door open again.
He'd wanted to get through at least one more email, so he'd have less to do later, but Mitch was quicker than he thought.
Mitch had been in the bathroom for a little less than ten minutes, so Scott hadn't expected anything close to how Mitch walked out.
Scott glanced over, his jaw literally dropping at the sight of Mitch in the lingerie they'd bought together, as well as a large button up shirt, with all the buttons open, and one side of the shirt hanging off of one of Mitch's shoulders.
His hair was styled to the side as usual, but Scott could tell he had a little eye makeup on, in a very subtle way.
Mitch smiled innocently at him, knowing he'd accomplished what he'd wanted to. "Alpha?"
Scott's voice came out lower in pitch than he'd anticipated. "Mitch... What are you doing?"
Mitch looked down at himself with a small smirk. "Nothing... What are you doing?"
"I was trying to work."
Mitch walked over toward the bed, and knelt onto it, before glancing up to meet Scott's eyes through his eyelashes in the most seductive way he could. "And how's that working out for you?"
"It was working out just fine, until this exact moment in time."
"Yeah?" Mitch bit his lip a little, fully aware of what he was doing.
Scott checked Mitch out once, and then shook his head to turn back to his computer. "I need to finish this, Mitch."
Mitch didn't let that faze him. "I think it can wait."
"Mitchie, please? Just a few more emails. Avi is going to kill me."
Mitch let out a small sigh, and pouted at Scott, revealing that he'd put on some form of lip gloss that Scott was unfamiliar with. "But... But... Alpha..."
Scott moved back a little to lean on the headboard, and then he opened his arm toward Mitch. "Come here, baby."
Mitch gladly crawled over to hug Scott sideways, putting one of his legs over Scott's.
Scott adjusted the laptop onto his other leg, and put one arm around Mitch, and the other hand half on the laptop and half on Mitch's thigh, as Mitch's leg was across his thigh.
Mitch grinned happily, now content.
Scott smiled down at him, briefly kissing his forehead. "You're beautiful."
"Thank you... This is your shirt, by the way."
"I know." Scott paused to look down at Mitch's chest. "It looks better on you."
Mitch grinned, and looked up to meet his eyes. "You're so sweet."
Scott turned back to his computer, feeling much better now that Mitch was happy.
When lunch was prepared, Kirstie decided to be the one to tell Scott and Mitch. She skipped up the stairs, and then knocked on the door.
Mitch replied with a soft hum. "Hmm?"
Kirstie peeked into the room with a smile. "Hi! Lunch is ready, I just thought I'd tell you."
Scott looked up at her, his concentrated face relaxing a little. "Thank you. We'll be down in a bit." He looked down to Mitch for a second. "Actually, if you want to go with Kirstie, I'll just meet you guys down there in a few."
Mitch shook his head, and his arm tightened around Scott's waist. "No... I wanna wait with you."
"That's fine, baby." Scott looked back to Kirstie and smiled. "We'll be down in a few minutes."
She nodded and turned to leave the room.
Mitch watched her leave, and hummed to himself. "Is she... Feeling okay?"
"I was wondering that same thing... Earlier when she was arguing with Avi, I thought maybe she felt sick or something."
"It must just be her Heat coming up."
"You're probably right." Scott turned to meet his eyes, and took the hand off of Mitch's leg to grab his chin and pull his face up enough for Scott to kiss him.
Mitch kissed back until he giggled, and had to stop. "You're so odd sometimes."
"I'm odd because I want to kiss my very attractive husband?"
"I guess not." Mitch giggled again. "You make a very good point."
Scott nodded once, agreeing, and then leaned down to kiss Mitch again, this time with a more firm grip on Mitch's face.
Mitch was the first to pull away again. "Okay." He let out a small pant, and shook his head a little. "Calm down."
Scott chuckled lowly, moving a little to grab the laptop and move it to the bedside table. "Sorry."
When Scott tried to stand from the bed, Mitch grabbed his arm. "Don't go. I was so comfortable."
"You're not hungry?"
Mitch raised a sassy eyebrow. "Is my hand in your pants right now?" He paused. "That should answer your question."
"Just because you're not doing your 'hungry equals horny', doesn't mean you're not hungry, baby."
Mitch frowned at him, his hand tightening around Scott's forearm. "But... I don't wanna."
"Why not?"
"I want to hang out with you... They're all mad at me down there..."
"No they aren't, baby. They're just trying to help you. Besides, what does it matter? You'll sit right next to me the whole time, and then we can come right back up here."
"Really?"
"Mhmm." Scott stood up and held out a hand to help Mitch stand up as well. "Come on, Angel."
Mitch grinned widely at the nickname, and jumped out of the bed.
Scott buttoned two of the buttons on Mitch's shirt, so he wouldn't be as exposed.
The shirt covered down to Mitch's lower thighs, so Scott wasn't as concerned about that front.
Mitch grinned widely, and held onto Scott's upper arm as Scott adjusted his outfit, before they both left the room to walk downstairs.

When Scott and Mitch sat down, Scott instantly noticed how close Alex and Kirstie were.
Alex was seated beside her, his head leaned down a little to hear what she was whispering to him.
Avi hadn't noticed, as he was having a conversation with Jake.
Mitch followed Scott's eye line, and hummed, turning to Scott again. "What's that about?"
Scott shrugged, and picked up half of a sandwich to hand to Mitch. "Beats me."
