Kevin was now sitting on the couch feeding Scott, who'd been too tired to do it himself.
Todrick was in the kitchen watching Alex cook, because Alex wanted to be sure he was doing everything right.
Todrick came up behind him all of a sudden, and lifted the side of his shirt a little.
Alex giggled and moved away. "What are you doing, silly?"
Todrick shook his head, eyebrows furrowed, and backed Alex up into the counter, before lifting his shirt again. "Allie, are you eating properly? You're so thin... Obviously you're still muscular as anything. But... You look smaller, almost.."
Alex pushed Todrick's hands away. "Yes. I am eating properly."
Todrick raised an eyebrow. "Then why are you pushing me away? Just let me look."
"I'm embarrassed, Toddy..." Alex answered softly, holding his shirt down with both of his hands.
"Alex. It's just me. Let me see." Todrick begged.
Alex frowned and looked away, but moved his hands for Todrick to do what he wanted.
Todrick slowly lifted Alex's shirt to look at his stomach, and hummed. "Allie, will you promise me that you'll eat a big dinner? Please?"
"I promise. I swear I'm not trying to be skinnier on purpose..."
Todrick smiled and let his shirt fall back down. "Thank you, honey. You still look amazing, if that is any consolation. You're still gorgeous. Just... Skinnier."
"Thank you." Alex smiled a little, blushing profusely. "Can I look at your belly too?"
Todrick smiled at his innocence, and put his hands to his sides for Alex to do the same as Todrick had done to him.
Alex bent a little to reach the hem of Todrick's shirt, and looked underneath before dropping the clothing back into place. "You're very fit. Nothing new."
"Thanks." Todrick chuckled a little.
"I'm glad that you're confident in your body... It seems like.. Not many of us are. But I'm glad that you of all people, are."
"What do you mean 'of all people'?"
"Like.. If anyone was going to be confident. I'm glad it's you... But I think Jakey is too. And The Alpha isn't that bad. Kirstie's confident in herself now, I think... Mitchie got better about it."
Todrick nodded. "And Kevin was never insecure, so. We're all good. Oh..." He rethought that statement. "Everyone but Scott."
"But he's attractive so, he's fine."
"That's not how it works, Allie." He chuckled a little.
Alex frowned and turned back to what he was cooking. "Well... It should be. I don't think anyone should have to be insecure."
"I know you don't. And I completely agree. But... Aren't you being a little hypocritical by saying that?"
"No. I'm insecure because I have to be. But other people don't have to be."
Todrick just stared at Alex's back. "You... What?"
Alex didn't answer, he just continued cooking.
Todrick took a deep breath, and left the kitchen to find Kevin.
Kevin was handing something to Kirstie, who was sitting at the dining room table.
He walked over and started to speak, but was shocked to find that the only thing that came out was a sob.
Todrick covered his mouth, but Kevin was standing in front of him in a heartbeat.
