I hate the way you talk to me

Courtney sighed as she watched as her boyfriend joked and laughed with his friends from the school's basketball team. Barely glancing at her, as she stood by the lockers.

"Duncan, I told you I have a curfew that cannot be broken, and it's getting late," she said, checking her watch. Duncan sighed a little, and looked at her from his conversation with his friends. He seemed annoyed.

"Princess, if you don't like being late, then just find a ride with someone else," he said. A little rudely. Courtney pulled her jacket closer, and looked away.

"Fine," she mumbled "I will,"

She walked away, listening to his deep voice as he kept joking with his friends. Feeling hurt. She hated the way he always talked to her in front of his friends. It was like he was a completely different person around them, verses when they were alone.

She was sick of it.

I hate the way you cut your hair

Courtney shook her head, as she stared at Duncan. As he trimmed his green mo-hawk, making sure no piece was out of place. He had the damn thing since before he met her, and she had always complained to him about it. Saying that he looked unprofessional.

"I don't understand how an 18-year-old like yourself can stand having his hair looking like that," she scoffed, rolling her eyes and crossing her arms over her chest. Duncan looked at her eyes in the mirror, a smirk coming to his lips

"It makes me look sexy, and you know it. Just admit it, Princess," he teased. She scoffed again and walked away. But her own lips were turned up in a smirk.

His mo-hawk did make him look sexy.

But there was no way she'd ever tell him that.

I hate the way you drive my car

"Duncan!" Courtney shrieked, clutching to the leather seats of her brand new car. She had just bought it about a week ago, and it was the first time she had ever let him drive it. She was insanely over protective of her baby.

And he was currently speeding down the road, at 2am, going 70 miles per hour

"Woo hoo!" Duncan cheered, his red converse punching the gas pedal down to the floor. Her car's engine let out a loud complain, and the speed picked up.

"Ugh! Slow down before you kill us, you neanderthal!" Courtney snapped, her onyx eyes wide with fear, as the road in front of them seemed to disappear the faster he drove. Her teeth were clenched, and she knew her nails were gouging into her seats, but she didn't care.

"Oh come on Princess, live a little!" he laughed. Courtney shot him a furious glare.

She wasn't surprised when a few minutes later, they were parked on the side of the street. The cop's red, white, and blue lights flashing behind them. She was glaring over at him, her arms crossed over her chest. Duncan shot her a sheepish smile.

"I love you-"

"Shut up,"

I hate it when you stare

Courtney hummed a little, as she listened to her favorite song on her iPod. Her headphones in her ears. She was gently bouncing her knee under the table to the beat.

She was currently sitting in the school's library. It was her lunch period, and she decided to leave the chaos of the lunch room and go some where more quiet. She needed to catch up on an essay that was due in a few days, and decided she'd start today.
