"Chill out,

Whatcha yelling for?

Lay back,

it's all been done before,

and if you could let it be,

you will see,

I like you the way you are,

when were driving in your car,

And you're talking to me one on one,

but you've become somebody else,

around everyone else,"

Gwen laughed as she watched Duncan win another round of poker. He had won the last three games, and was racking up quite the profit.

"Damn D, you're kicking my ass!" Geoff said, nudging his shoulder against Duncan's, who smirked and shrugged

"What can I say boys, I have a great poker face," Duncan said, leaning back against his chair.

"Well, I should get going. I'm already 10 minutes passed my curfew," Gwen said with a yawn. She grabbed her black jacket off of the back of her chair and looked at her boyfriend

"Duncan, are you gonna walk me home?" she asked, smiling at him. He opened his mouth to speak, but slowly his eyes traveled to behind Gwen as a brunette walked through the front door of Geoff's house, and took off her jacket.

Duncan licked his lips and smirked "I would pasty, but I'm kinda on a roll here and wanna win some more cash." he apologized, looking up at his girlfriend's disappointed face.

Gwen sighed but nodded a little "As long as you promise to take me out to dinner," she teased.

Duncan eyed the brunette again "Yeah, sure," he mumbled.

Gwen looked at her boyfriend confused, but ignored his weird behavior and walked out the front door. She looked up and froze when she saw Courtney walk in, Heather by her side.

"Hey, boyfriend stealer," Courtney hissed at the goth as she passed, Gwen whimpered and quickly ran out of the house.

"Watching your back, like you can't relax,

you're trying to be cool,

but you look like a fool to me,"

"Duncan, why did you get home so late the other night from Geoff's?" Gwen asked, as she sat next to her boyfriend at the local coffee shop. Duncan was texting on his phone and slowly locked his screen when she sat down next to him

"I told you, I was on a roll." he said, with a shrug as he slowly grabbed his coffee from Gwen.

"You barely texted me all night. You must have been really into whatever it was that you were doing.." Gwen mumbled, narrowing her eyes. Duncan quickly sped right past her comment

"Relax babe. Like I said, I was on a roll," Duncan said with a wink, before nervously looking around the coffee shop.

"Why'd you have to go and make things so complicated?

I see the way you're acting like you're somebody else,

and it gets me frustrated,

Life's like this you,

Fall and you crawl,

and you break, and you take,

what you get and you turn it into honesty,

Promise me I'm never gonna find you fake it,

No, no, no"

Duncan pushed open his apartment door, never breaking the contact from his lips to her's. He quickly shut his door and pushed her up against the door, his hands roaming down her body under her tight dress she had worn to the party that night.
