Somebody That I Used To Know

Courtney sighed as she watched Chris walk out onto the old sound stage on Camp Wawanakwa. The very same stage they had used in season 1 for the Talent Show challenge, when Bridgette had destroyed her violin on accident, and gave Courtney a concussion. She was just happy she was on the Hero Team finally, after arguing and arguing about it to Chris, he had finally given in. She was happy, she was no villain, but she was even happier to be away from Gwen and Duncan.

The Villains sat on the other set of bleachers, across the way. Courtney was trying to ignore Duncan the best she could. 

"Hello campers! This scenery might look a little familiar to our Season 1 cast! It's the old sound stage!" Chris cheered, Courtney and most of the rest of the cast rolled their eyes

"Why are we here, McLean?" Alejandro sneered, he was laying down on the bleachers, his legs still not working entirely yet. Heather was casting glances at him every so often. 

"Good question Al, you're all here because I'm bored and want some entertainment!" Chris laughed. Everyone groaned loudly and he glared at them

"I came to the realization we never got to use this stage to its full potential in Season 1, so I thought.. Why not a singing challenge?" Chris said. Duncan stood up

"No. No no, no. I ain't singing anything. You had your fun with that last season!" he yelled angrily. Courtney snorted a little

"You know, it's funny that you said something Duncan. Because you're the one who won the audience's vote on who they wanted to see sing today!" Chris said. Duncan glowered at the host and crossed his arms over his chest.

"Oh come on Duncan. Do it for the team," Gwen urged. 

"Do it or I'll get you voted off!" Heather snapped bluntly. Duncan growled and threw his hands up

"Fine, whatever! One song, and that's it!" he said and jumped down off of the bleachers and got up on the stage. Chris made some distance between him and the angry teen, and clasped his hands together

"Oh wait, it gets better!" he smirked "You're not gonna be doing a solo in this challenge, Duncan. Don't worry!" he said. Duncan smirked

"Great, I'm not the only one who will get humiliated," he said

"Nope, you'll get humiliated together!" Chris said. He looked over at the Heros 

"I'm sure you're all wondering who won the audience vote for your team, aren't you?" Chris asked. The Heros all shared looks

"No, not really," Zoey said. 

"Well, it was a landslide vote. I asked the audience who they wanted to see sing a duet together, and the winners were Duncan and Courtney!" Chris cheered.

Courtney visibly paled. Everyone slowly turned and looked at her, expecting her to blow up or something. Gwen shrank in her seat, crossing her arms over her chest. 

"Oh you've gotta be kidding me!" Duncan sighed. Courtney narrowed her eyes at him, before standing up abruptly. 

"Okay, yeah," she said "I'll do it," she stuck her nose into the air and made her way onto the stage, she walked right past Duncan and stood on the other side of Chris, crossing her arms with a huff. 

"What song are they gonna sing?" Heather asked, smirking. Chris reached into his pocket and fished out a small piece of paper, he held it up to his face and read it

"Somebody That I Used To Know," he read out loud. Duncan rolled his eyes and Courtney slowly smirked

"Great," she said "I love that song!"
