I apologize now for the present Angel got him. I had no idea what to do so I just did that 'cause that would literally be my dream present and it's kind of foreshadowing for later on, so yeah. I'm sorry!!! Anyways, carry on.

I sat there patiently, the beautifully wrapped box on my lap, just waiting to be opened. It had come in the mail yesterday and I'd been awestruck just by the dazzling silver paper it was covered in. I couldn't wait to see what was inside. The call finally connected and I smiled at David who was sitting criss crossed in front of a huge evergreen tree, my present laying next to him.
"Merry Christmas, Princess," he murmured sweetly.
"Merry Christmas." We stayed there for a minute, grinning like idiots, itching to rip open our gifts.
"You go first." I laughed as we'd said it at the same time. "No, you!" Again, in sync. He laughed as well, "You! No! Stop that! Open it already!" I swiped at my teary eyes and eventually my laughing fit subsided.
"Okay, okay," he said, still chuckling, "how about we flip a coin for it?"
I shrugged, "Works for me."
He pulled some weird British coin out of his pocket and wiggled his eyebrows, "Heads or tails?"
"Hmm... I'll do heads."
He tsked and shook his head, "Wrong choice."
I crossed my arms, "We'll just see about that."
He settled it on his thumb and flicked it up. It made a satisfying ding as it hit his fingernail and did a few flips in the air before coming back down. He caught it and slapped it on the back of his hand. He glanced up at me, "Ready?" I nodded and he slowly removed his hand. His mouth stretched into a grin, "I told you!"
"No way! I don't believe you! Lemme see!" He showed it to me and it was indeed tails up. I sighed, "Oh, alright. Go ahead."
He pulled the box closer and eyed it up eagerly. "You're not one of those people who care about saving wrapping paper and all that are you?"
"Nah, not usually."
"Good, 'cause I'm ripping this baby open." With that, he proceeded to tear off the paper like a tiger clawing into its prey. He opened the flaps and threw out the few layers of tissue paper. When he finally saw what was inside, his eyes got so big I was afraid they might fall out of his head. He reached in and gingerly pulled out the piece of clothing. "Is this what I think it is?" he whispered.
"If you think it's a t-shirt from Fall Out Boy's first ever concert that's signed by all four of them, then yes, yes it is what you think it is. Otherwise, no."
He stared at it for a another minute before he looked back into the box and pulled out four smaller boxes that were almost identical. "No way... I've been looking everywhere for these!" They were Pop figures of the members of the band. I knew he collected them and these ones were pretty rare so I searched high and low and eventually succeeded in rounding them all up.
His gaze wandered to the box again and he seemed surprised that there was more. He pulled out a CD case and his mouth gaped open. "Is this their new album?"
I grinned, "Yup. Sorry it's not in the original plastic, I may have burned it onto my computer before I sent it to you..."
He stared at me incredulously, "But it's not supposed to be released for another two months!"
I shrugged, "Cam knows a guy."
He looked down at his gifts, "How did you get all this? It must have cost a fortune!"
