Shawn:

💞next day💞

When I woke up the sunlight was illuminating the wooden room.
I smelled the sent of Adriana's strawberry shampoo and I looked to my side, seeing her still asleep next to me.
Clenching on to my arm as her head was half rested on my shoulder.

I slowly moved out from under her, lying down on my side to observe her with more view. She didn't wake up though, that's good. She's so beautiful.
And I don't understand how I got this lucky. How can I get a girl that's so beautiful to fall in love with a messy person like me?

I still dream about the people lost in my memory, fabricated by my nostalgia and romanticised by my broken heart.
But lately all I've been dreaming about is Adriana.

I smiled as I looked at her.
Feeling our legs all tangled up underneath the sheets and her hair all messy on the pillow. Her cheeks still a light crimson red like they always are.

Last night was beyond amazing, and now I finally have a new memory to replace all the bad ines. And it's her.
Having to get to do these kind of things with her. It makes it more special when you know the person really loves you despite just doing it for the pleasure.

I watched as her eyes slowly fluttered open and when they met mine, immediately a smile awoke on her lips. "Morning beautiful." I whispered as she scooted closer.
My hand traveling up her bare back as she wrapped her arms around me.
"Please tell me it wasn't all just a dream?" She smiled in to my neck. "It wasn't a dream. But we're living one."

It's true.
Being with her is like living the dream I always wanted. The love, care, support and smiles. The heartwarming moments I look back to all have her with me.

She's my heart.
My life.
I can't lose that.

We got up a while later, getting dressed.
"You know, I can really see me living here. A bit of revamping and color... it'll be perfect." I leaned against the doorframe of the room, seeing her twirling around the room as she looked around.
All dressed in my oversized shirt. The way she moves, is astonishing.
"You really see that? How though?"

Her smile grew with passion as she started talking about painting the kitchen walls yellow, getting all vintage and bohemian on the cottage, "Most of all, I need life. The garden will grow from the inside with houseplants in ever corner and every shelf. And then, this house needs you. The last light to make the picture perfect." She smiled, warming my heart.
My heart still hasn't got enough of her love and touch.

"I love how your eyes light up, how your smile grows and how your heartbeat increases when you talk about what you love."
"Oh honey, if only you knew how many beats my heart skips when I think about you." She pecked my cheek before walking outside.

She's miraculous.

I love her.

As I walked out to her she was standing down on the ground between the trees, looking out over to me.
"What?" I looked down at myself, being the typical me in search for something wrong.
But that wasn't the case with her.
She saw the beauty. I saw my jeans, naked upper body and simply couldn't find something wrong that will make her look at me the way she does. My eyes met hers again.

"Adriana?"
"Forgive me, if I find you so beautiful it's indescribable. But know that I see you beyond your body, and I listen to your mind and I'm inspired by your spirit. For so many people, love is only skin deep. But for me that's just the beginning." She ran her hands through her hair as she looked at me.

I could see tears dwelling up in her eyes, but the smile she showed proved to me that they were tears of joy.
Her words brough tears to my eyes.
How can I mean so much to someone?

She makes me feel like I'm the only guy on this earth. The last two lovers.
Things got serious in juat a few seconds, but I could see that she's been wanting to say this for a while.

"I love you Shawn Mendes. And nothing you say or do will ever change that, or will ever change how I feel about you." She exclaimed, making me smile as I wiped my eyes, blinking repeatedly.

My world... is standing right in front of my very eyes.

"You mean so much to me." I said softly.
She walked up to me, standing a step down from where I was. "Aww, don't cry Shawn." She chuckled, wiping my tear away, before it even fell down my cheek.
I know she'll be here for me, always.
The way she cares and the things she does.

Our romance is a slow building thing, but as delicate as we both are, I'm scared for how delicate our relationship is.
How easily can it be broken.

"Where are you going from here on?" I aksed, holding her in my arms as we both just looked out over the view. My arms wrapped around her from behind. "Probably back to my mum and dads." She didn't call it home. "But don't think I want to. I honestly would rather stay here. Home."
"Home?" She nodded.
Wow.

"You're adorable." I grasped her in my arms again, picking her up and throwing her over my shoulder as I walked back inside.

Life with her, is a life worth living for.
